Chapter 5

Odessa's POV

'Today the mid- term results will be out. Kind of nervous not going to lie' I told my friends. The only two people I can be honest and vulnerable with. Tiana and Adam. I told them about the whole deal between Christian and I and they didn't know what to say. 'The first thing Tiana asked was 'So what are you letting him do for two weeks?'. That question made me smile. She literally gave me hope. 'It's going to be okay Odessa just take a deep breath and calm down' Adam says. I did what I was told and it calmed my nerves a little bit. The bell rang signalling lunch was over and of course Chemistry is the next class. 'You are going to be fine relax' Tiana says as we all get up to head to our various classes. 'Alright see you guys later' I say and head to class and to take my seat. All I could hear was my hear beat gets louder when he walked by his scent lingering around me for a while. 'Okay class settle down' Mr.Jayden says and the class goes silent. 'For once in your lifetime you all did well. I hope you all keep it up till you are done with high school. Just a few weeks left and you are gone. Anyways I will be sharing the test at the end of class so you can do whatever you want but make sure you don't make a lot of noise' As he ends his speech people group up, some take out their phones and others just decide to sleep  or snack on  something. I was getting impatient. I stand up to go ask permission to use the restroom and guess who's right behind me. Christian. 'Just go' he waves his hands at us dismissing us. I walk to the female restroom but get stopped by a mascular arm. 'Where do you think you are going Des? You know I already won so... Why don't I just tell you what I want for the next two weeks?' he says in my ear sending shivers down my spine. 'Let go off me you weirdo' I say and he lets go off me and asks 'If you did win what would you have me doing for two weeks?' 'I'd let you skip school for two weeks so that I wouldn't face to see your face or hear your annoying little voice every single day' I answer. 'Ouch' he says acting hurt. 'What would you let me do for two weeks?' I ask curious. He comes closer me now staring up at him and he looking down at me. 'I'd let you be with me the entire time both in school and after school' he says with a smirk whiles my face is in horror. Me? Be with home 24/7 for two weeks? Hell nah. He must be joking. 'You are joking right? I ask hoping for the best reply. 'But I'm not' he says and walks off leaving me utterly shocked and irritated. I get back to class and use my phone till it's over. He hands the class captain the papers and she shares it amongst the class. I stayed behind when I got my paper. It was a 97%. I packed my things once every one left. Bag on one shoulder. Paper in one hand and my phone in the other. Once I stepped out of class he was already waiting for me. 'I got a 99%' he said. I showed him my paper and he smirked. 'Can't wait to spend the next two weeks with you Des' he said and walked off. Great I already have a nickname
