Moving Every Memory

Chapter five.

dear diary,

we have settled into our new home in california.

its not as big as our old house, but its still okay.

i start school next week.

i'm super nervous.

johnny will also start school.

he tells me that he is excited, and im glad at least one of us is.

mom started working.

she works twelve hours a day, so i barely get to see her.

dad called johnny ams asked him how he was, johnny was happy dad called.

i also talked to dad.

he saId he was sorry that he had to leave us like that.

he told me that he simply had to.

all i said was "sure.".

mom got angry once she found out that we talked to dad.

but she got over it pretty soon.

also today alex called.

he asked me how everything is.

i told him everything is fine, when really it wasn't.

i mean, im not used to the house and i feel like i have become more shy.

shy does not fit me at all.

and i hate that now im shy.

if only we didnt move.
