Bio and Personality: When the son of Unicron was created and Sent to Mobius, he was a Mercenary leader of Jackal Squad, who was his closest friends and family. One day, the group attacked Dr. Eggman's base so they could raid the facility and fetch a hefty bounty for the Eggman technology inside. Though the squad got past the first wave of Badniks, Eggman soon summoned an army of Egg Pawn Phantom Copies that overwhelmed them. Meanwhile, Infinite was offered to become the leader of the Eggman Army by Eggman, who had seen the captain's true nature after he came into contact with the Phantom Ruby. Though the Jackal Squad members were against this alliance, Infinite gladly took Eggman's offer.

The Jackal Squad was eventually assigned with defending Eggman's Facility in Mystic Jungle. Most of the members, however, were completely annihilated by Shadow the Hedgehog, who had come to destroy the facility. The only known survivor of the Jackal Squad was their leader, Infinite, who tried exacting revenge on Shadow, only to be dealt a humiliating defeat. Infuriated by his own weakness, the captain assumed a new identity and fused with the finalized Phantom Ruby prototype in order to become stronger and avenge his team's death.

Soon after Eggman's Experiment was completed, his first mission was to stop Omega from invading Robotnik's base. he defeats Omega and Rouge tells Shadow goes in to find him. there he finds infinite instead and he warps to Dusty Desert and taunts him. however Shadow manages to fight it of and escape the collapsing building. 

Later he helped Robotnik in capturing Sonic the Hedgehog. he managed to easily defeat him and they locked Sonic up on the Prison Satellite for 6 months. Allowing Robotnik to take over the world. he later assisted in the invasion of Sunset Heights. he'd defeat it's militia and taunted a young citizens. however he let them go do to his fear satisfying him.

However the young citizens would join the Resistance and managed to rescue Sonic. after Infinite and Robotnik caught wind of this Robotnik told him to destroy all the Phantom Ruby prototypes at the Mystic Jungle base. Infinite arrived and as he was about to destroy the last on Silver intercepted him. they then fought however until Sonic would step in. so Sonic and Infinite fought again and to Infinite's surprised Sonic was doing well. however Infinite would get the upper hand and leave saying sonic wasn't worth his time. after that he returned to Robotnik and informed him the prototypes where destroyed. Robotnik scolded infinite for keeping Sonic alive, but infinite said he wasn't to worry because he'd defeated Sonic before and he can do it again.
