Chapter 35- We're On Our Way

"Love you, too, Mama." I sniffed as we arrived at Interscope Records. "I have to go. We're here."

"Okay. Call me later." She said before hanging up.

"Are you okay?" Prince asked as he helped me out. He pulled a green bandana out of my bag and put it on me.

"Yeah. Wendy just made me want to cry." I smiled.

"Kendon and Ma'Kayla, you'll be with Keisha for awhile, okay? The girls and boys have business to take care of." Walter told the toddlers.

"Okay. Cool." Kendon said as he held Ma'Kayla's hand firmly.

"Stay together." Juno told them and they nodded.

We followed the boys, Kenneth, and Walter into the building and into a meeting room filled with people.

After they talked about the summer tour planning schedule, they talked about different artists being on the tour with the boys.

"Who do you want on tour?" The leader of the meeting asked.

"Diggy Simmons." Prodigy said.

"Jacob Latimore." Ray added.

"Okay. And who else?" He asked as everyone around him nodded and murmured in agreement.

"These lovely ladies that came here with us today." Roc smiled.

"And they are?" The man asked.

"Hi. It's yours truly, Artemis Williams, but I go by Princess." I introduced myself.

"What's up? I'm Isis Drake, but you may call me Royalty." Isis smiled.

"It's your girl, Brittany Jones, but I am TrendyB." Brittany waved.

"And I am Jari Smith or Jewel." Jari nodded.

"And we are Unique Royalty." We said together.

"And I am their DJ, Juno Williams. DJ MiniMe." Juno added with a smile.

"What is it that you do?" Someone asked.

"We sing, dance, act, draw, and play musical instruments." I answered. Brittany tightened her grip on her violin case as I tightened my grip on my guitar case and we all looked at the piano in the corner of the room.

"And where are you from?" Someone else asked.

"New Orleans, Louisiana." Jari smiled.

"Would you like to hear us?" Isis asked politely.

"I guess. You came all this way." The leader said and leaned back in his swivel chair-- sizing us up.

"MiniMe, are you ready?" Brittany asked.

"Yes." Juno nodded after her computer was set up to some speakers in the room. Some men moved the table back for us.

We sang and danced to All About Him for everyone. When we finished, they all clapped, but the leader.

"Was that an original song?" The leader asked.

"Yes, sir." I gasped as I tried to catch my breath.

"Who wrote it?" He asked.

"We all did." I answered as my breathing slowed.

"Are you boys sure you want these girls on your tour?" The leader asked the boys.

"We're positive. They are really talented." Prince said.

"And they'll bring more boys and men to the concerts." Prodigy said.
