Chapter 33- Princeton's Birthday Part 2

"Make a wish, man!" Roc said to Prince.

He looked at me.

"I already have my wish." He smiled. I looked down and blushed.

"Make a wish! We do not want to eat a wax cake!" Isis threatened. Prince laughed and blew out the candles in one blow. We clapped and turned the lights on.

Kendon and Ma'Kayla came up to Prince.

"Hey Prince! Happy birthday!" They said together.

"Thanks monkeys. What's up?" Prince smiled as he wiped the cake and frosting off his face with a towel.

"Nothing much. We're happy to be here in L.A." Ma'Kayla smiled.

"I'm happy that you're here. Kendon, what's good, little man?" Prince dapped Kendon.

"Nothing. Just chilling. I like Bella. She's really nice." Kendon smiled.

"Aye. Leave my cousin alone." Prince joked.

"Aye. Leave my auntie alone." Kendon mocked him.

"Hey little dude." Roc said to Kendon. "Hey little Mama."

"Hey Rocky." Ma'Kayla hugged Roc. Roc walked away with Kendon and Ma'Kayla on his legs. He dragged them, laughing, through the house.

"Kendon reminds me of Roc. So quiet and chill." Prince said as we watched the three.

"I know right." I smiled as the music started up again. It was a Charlie Wilson song "There Goes My Baby".

Juno and I instantly started swaying. We both love Charlie Wilson.

"Come on, you old soul." Prince laughed and started dancing with me.

"There goes my baby. There goes my destiny...She gonna be the one. We fell in love. We gonna have some babies."

We danced like two idiots together and everyone stared at us.

"I don't know why everyone is staring." I said.

"Yeah. It's like they've never seen two people dance before." Prince said. We laughed and went to get something to eat as Myles played more Charlie Wilson.

"You like Charlie Wilson?" Miss Teresa asked as we got something to eat next to her.

"Yes. It's my mom's fault. She always played Charlie Wilson, and Juno and I love a lot of his songs." I answers with a smile.

"You have an old soul, Miss Artemis." Miss Teresa smiled. I smiled back at her.

"Why thank you." I said as Prince hummed "You Are" by Charlie Wilson.

"Are you having fun?" He asked me as we ate.

"Yeah. Are you?" I asked.

"I have you, so yeah. I'm having fun." He smiled. I smiled back at him.

"I'm gonna go find Kendon and Ma'Kayla. Those two monkeys can cause a lot of trouble." I laughed.

"Okay. I'm just gonna talk to my mom." He kissed my forehead before I left.

"So who are those little kids? Are they Artemis's?" Mom asked.

"No! Mama, Artemis would to have at Kendon at 8 and Ma'Kayla at 11." I said while shaking my head. "They are her niece and nephew."

"I'm sorry, baby. They look just like her. That's all. And they seem so attached to her." Mom said.
