Hi everyone! Thank you so much for clicking on this story, this will be a short message don't worry.
First off, I am writing this story as my life unfolds and while there are many parallels to my life right now, this is not completely my story.
But, I would like you all to keep in mind that this story will likely end in a couple of years, when the main character is at the end of her high school journey as well.
This story is meant to be relatable. It is meant to show what happens behind the scenes of a teenager's life. It is a story about the struggle of feeling the pressure to be perfect, to be better than those around you, and the feeling of having to compete when you just want to collaborate. The feeling of losing friends, and feeling lonely even when you are surrounded by familiar faces. While not all of these will resonate will every one of you, I hope you can appreciate this perspective of the high school experience
Lastly, please don't be a silent reader, I want to hear your thoughts, opinions, and input always!
