Gennie's never taken risks. She pretty much steers clear of them at all costs. In my English class we were told we had to make our own Philosophy. I, being young and inexperienced in life, found the subject very difficult. What is humanity? What determines and judges it? Who is human in this cold, sick world?

Leave my unworthy sight, and find yourself worth fight for. Worth living for. Unlike me. It's a waste of life to look at me." Regret Nakashibi was doomed to die at sixteen. Her own seven deadly sins would kill her in fierce painful battles. She didn't have a choice to live on. She only was presented with the choice to die early and not have to feel the pain her sins would bring her on that fateful day.  However Regret knew better than that. She knew better than to give up. She decided to take her leave and learn to battle her sins--a battle which no one has every won before--even if it was deadly and someone from the past tries to get her out of the plot to enjoy her life.

life with a mentally unstable parent is never easy. I decided this needed to be written after an encounter my sister had with a police woman who acted very judgmental towards her for her attitude about our mothers illness.
