Everyone remained silent. Because, well, why not? And who would dare to say anything when Cale's eyes are on fire? If they want to die quickly, they can say so, and Cale will deliver them to kingdom come.

Alver turns to face Cale. The nobles were waiting for Cale to speak as well.

There is only one person who can speak to Cale informally at times like these.

"What must be done, Cale?"

Thank goodness for Duke Deruth's existence in this ill-fated life filled with Cale Henituse!

Cale lets out a sigh and shifts his weight to the other side.

"We cannot do anything in this world, Father," Cale says as he leans against the table. "I need to go to the original world of Birth of a Hero to stop all this," he said, resting his chin on his knuckles.

It sounds a little tedious. Deruth said. He was aware of his own son's nature, but he had not anticipated it being so extreme. "The Birth of a Hero?"

Cale suddenly realized what he had just said. He was too preoccupied with how to kill the God of Death inside his head to drop the bomb casually.

"White Star's death had an impact on the parallel world that goes by that name," Cale decided to withhold information about the Sealed God and Nelan Barrow's book. Not everyone was aware that the Sealed God was nearby. His people realized something was wrong and decided to remain silent.

"Parallel worlds?"

"You know the concept of different universes?" Cale inquired. The nobles knew that theory, but they could not believe it, "It is a world like ours, with different futures and different paces, except that the death of the White Star in this world resulted in the disappearance of the other White Stars."

"You mean?"

"White Star is the object that wrote the same future for other worlds." Cale doesn't know in what ways but considering how the other god spoke to him before, White Star, in the birth of a Hero and other parallel worlds completed world destruction. "This is an alternate universe where he disappeared."

"It means they are all connected."

"Yes," as expected of the Pajama Emperor. Alver gazed at him and asked, "So how many people are needed?"

Cale looked at the Cintamani with the number [1/??].

"One."

Everyone got the chills but as soon as Cale said that, "I'll be travelling back and forth. The god who was with the god of death briefed me that I might get warped in that world's time if I stay there."

"It means he's making an exception for you."

"We have been talking about White Star for a while now," Deruth and other kingdom kings, particularly Tunka, finally said. "Are you going to take his place as White Star, My friend?"

It was a simple and innocent question, but it made sense. It has more weight because Tunka asked it out of nowhere.

"Yes," Cale said solemnly, meeting Tunka's gaze.

Everyone in the hall felt cold, thankful that Cale was an ally—thankful that Cale is not the enemy in this world.

"Hah. Seriously? That's fucked up." Alver let out a helpless breath. He felt terrible for Alver from TBOAH. Cale could play a hero, a villain, or both. That is how dangerous Cale is, no matter how innocent and kind he appears. It is not because he is strong or has a lot of power—Alver knew Cale's head and charisma were his most dangerous assets. The ability to calculate everything on the fly and to move people without doing anything.
