before

it was andy's idea to move out to a place of their own

it was almost an year and a half after high school ended, and they both had steady jobs at Appungsoft, mia working in the financial department, and andy working as an IT person

it was a blessing they both got hired. Appungsoft's policy allows people without college or university degrees to work there. you are put onto a six month trial period, where you spend about two weeks in each department, and at the end of the trial period, you are put in the department you excelled in. workers on their trial period get paid too

after an year working at Appungsoft, mia and andy had enough money saved up to rent a one bedroom, two washrooms apartment for an year without worrying about budgets for each month

mia agrees to it, and a few weeks later, they move into their apartment

"andy"

mia calls out

they have been living there for half an year, and mia loves it there

"what"

he replies

"you forgot to take the garbage out"

she says

"i'm sorry, i forgot"

he smiles sheepishly

"let's go out right now, i have something to show you"

andy says

they head out, and he drives to a medium sized, modern house

he parks, and they both get out

he unlocks the door, and he reveals the interior of the house, all decorated

"this is so pretty"

mia gushes

"who's house is this"

she asks

"ours"

andy laughs, kissing mia on the lips

"wait... how"

mia is baffled

"i fixed a really major problem no one else saw in the system that would've costed the company millions, and mr. willows was so thankful he promoted me, gave me a raise which is nearly triple my previous salary, and gave me a $500,000 bonus. that bonus alone was enough to buy this house without taking out a loan, and refurnish the whole place with everything new. we only have to pay the monthly bills and property tax here"

andy was smiling

"oh my gosh why didn't you tell me and when was this"

mia screams excitingly

"i wanted to keep it a surprise and it happened two months ago"

andy laughed

"oh my gosh i'm so excited it's beautiful here i'm so happy i love you so much"

mia says kissing andy
