before

mia meets up with andy outside her house

he arrives a few minutes later, he walked to her house

"hey"

mia smiles awkwardly

"you could've told me, you know?"

andy cuts to the chase

"excuse me?"

mia says, confused

"you could've told me how you felt, instead of just kissing me and leaving me hanging like a douchebag"

andy tells mia

"i'm sorry"

mia says

kissing andy at school wasn't her first kiss with him. she kissed him last year, on her fourteenth birthday because all she wanted from him that year was a kiss with no romantic feelings attached

funny how that turned out

"so"

a smile creeps onto andy's face

"want to tell me how you feel about me now?"

he asks

mia takes a deep breath

"andy, i like you as more than just a best friend"

"the same goes to you, mia"

behind andy, mia looks at the window, and sees her mom waving and mouthing 'just kiss him', and her sister dancing crazily holding a sign with the words 'kiss him' in bold

"wanna go to a movie on friday night? as in a date"

andy asks

"i would love to"

mia smiles

she glances at the window again

she leans in and kisses andy again

"what was that for?"

he asks

"well, we gotta seal the deal somehow, right?"
