I absolutely hate drinking blood.
While it did taste good, I hate the fact that I need it to live and to go in the sun.
Unlike popular belief, vampires don't burn to ash if we go into the sun.
As long as we drank enough blood we can go out in the sun just fine.
If we don't we get extremely weak may even pass out and die if we go into the sun.
We don't actively hunt humans for blood. We did thousands and thousands of years ago but vampire blood works just fine. The Main Coven made it illegal to hunt humans all those many years ago.
