Chapter 20

Beckett pov...
Castle and I go back home as we have been given the time off for however long it takes for the case to be solved. I feel bad for not helping but with what Rick told me I know I wouldn't be able to handle it.

We watch TV for the rest of the day, it was relaxing not having to do anything.
Alexis comes home for dinner and I ask her "do you have anything planned for tomorrow?"
She shakes her head and say "why?"
I say "do you want to come to the zoo with us?"
She nods and says "that would be great mum but don't you have work"
Rick says "no we have this case off"

We talk for a while before watching 'The Heat'. It is such a funny movie.

Castle pov...
We were watching the movie and just before it ended Kate fell asleep, I could tell that Alexis was about to so I said to her "why don't you stay here tonight"
She nods and walk to her room.

I wake Kate up and say "it's time to go to bed". We both get go to bed and she falls asleep again straight away. I can tell that I will fall asleep soon too.
