Chapter 24: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

Start from the beginning

Pilot: 7-Alpha-1-1, confirmed. We're go for takeoff.

Bridge

Hill; sir, We have a bird in motion!

Fury: <runs out>

Hill; anyone on the deck, we have a rogue bird. We need to shut it down! Repeat, takeoff is not authorized.

Deck

Fury came out with a bazooka as he aimed and fired it at the jet hitting its engine grounding it at the edge. It was a decoy as a second jet took off the Helicarrier as Fury was going to shot it with his pistol but it was out of range. Fury went back inside so he can speak clearly.

Fury: Stark, do you hear me? You have a missile headed straight for the city.

New York

Ironman: how long? <gets hit down>

Both Ironman and IronLad were blasting Chitauri away.

Fury: <radio> three minutes, max. The payload will wipe out Midtown.

Ironman: Jarvis, put everything we got into the thrusters.

IronLad: Jocasta, same order!

Jarvis/Jocasta: I just did.

They both took off quickly as the jet fired the white missile towards Manhattan.

Pilot: package is sent. Detonation in 2 minutes, 30 seconds, mark.

Thor, Cap, and Wasp were fighting together still giving it their all as Cap got shot in the gut and hit down as Wasp took cover and panted in tiredness. Thor blocked the shots with Mjolnir as he hit a car towards the soldiers squashing them all before he threw Mjolnir in another direction making it hit multiple Chitauri. Thor helped both Cap and Wasp up.

Thor; are you ready for another bout?

Cap: what, are you getting sleepy?

Wasp: I'm definitely getting sleepy.

Thor: <recalls Mjolnir>

Ant-Man and Mockingbird ran over as Mocking bird leaned against a car very tired.

Top of the tower

Selvig picked up the computer as Amora held the scepter.

Selvig; right at the crown!

Amora got the scepter near the barrier as it was breaching it as she got it near the crown.

Widow: she can close it. Can anybody copy? Amora can shut the portal down.

Cap: <radio> do it.

Ironman: <radio> no, wait.

Cap: <radio> Stark, these things are still coming.

IronLad: <radio> we got a nuke coming in. It's gonna blow in less than a minute.

Ironman and IronLad were near the missile as they followed it.

Ironman: and I know just where to put it.

Ironman got underneath it the missile as IronLad got above it as they both grabbed it.

Cap: <radio> Starks, you know that's a one-way trip.

Ironman: save the rest for the turn, J.

Jarvis: sir, shall I try Miss Potts?

Ironman: might as well.

Jocasta: boss, Miss Sionis?

IronLad: call her.
