I really want to develop your relationship with him more in this chapter, so be ready.
I would also like to say that if you are coming back to this chapter because you saw a new update, I strongly advise going back to reread all the other chapters. It's been years, so you likely don't remember what happened anyways, but I HEAVILY changed and edited the story. It still roughly follows the same plot, though.

~~Your POV~~
Entering the room, I saw it was quite blank. The walls were pure wood, the only objects present in the room being a quite comfortable-looking bed, a cushioned chair, and a nightstand. Knowing the elves, the bed present in the room looked badly-made and uncomfortable, but compared to the one I had slept on with the Neverseen, it looked heaven-sent.
I turned out to be quite right, as I sat myself down on the bed and felt it slightly melt under me. Not like the one I had as a child, but a lovely one for me now.
Fitz moved to sit on the cushioned chair, facing me. I pushed myself up against the wall, facing him as well, putting myself in a criss-cross legged position.
Neither of us spoke, and the tension grew thick. I looked down at my hands out of awkwardness, but what I saw confused me instead.
I held up my wrist to Fitz, showing off the quite large silver bracelet, if you could call it a bracelet. I thought it looked more like a shackle.
"Where did this come from?" I questioned him.
"It's an ability restrictor. Dex made it. Tell me if it causes you any problems? He's made one before, but it didn't go quite right. He thinks this one should be fine, though." I gave him a face of horror, appalled and offended at the idea that they were taking away the very thing that made me an elf.
He pursed his lips, "It's not forever. They don't want you to lose control while you're here. Once they can trust you, they want to train your abilities. For now, this is the safest option for everyone."
I scoffed, "You mean for you guys."
He did not answer me, as he became very interested in something else. He was looking down at my legs, and I followed his gaze to see the burn marks I had left accidentally. His eyes widened.
"How did this happen?" He came closer to me, reaching a hand out, yet did not touch it.
I frowned, "I burnt myself by accident. I didn't mean to, I was just... scared," I thought for a moment, becoming more confused, "How did I do that if I'm wearing the ability restrictor?"
Fitz stood from his position next to me, taking a step back, "I have to tell Dex and Forkle. You shouldn't have been able to."
He moved to go towards the door, but I quickly shot up from my seat as well, scrambling towards him. Before he could make it to the door, I grabbed his hand, flipping him around and towards me.
"Please don't," I begged him, my voice laced with desperation. I began to feel my body heat up again, but I willed it to stop. I made it stop. "Please."
He looked at me with wide eyes, "You could lose control. You could hurt yourself and us. You said you can't control them."
"I know, I know what I said, but I can feel it; it's restricting the majority of my abilities. It feels heavy and I feel... dry. Please, it only happened cause I was scared. Please, Fitz, don't tell them," I swallowed my pride and begged him with as much desperation as I could muster.
