They used to live under the same roof.

Not by choice - just circumstance.

A favor repaid. A promise honored. Two boys trying to survive under one silent agreement: stay out of each other's way.

And it worked... until it didn't.

One night - hazy, broken, and never spoken of - became the quiet fracture between them.

One remembered. The other didn't.

And life moved on, or at least pretended to.

Days pass. The city changes. The house becomes a memory.

But fate? Fate has a way of looping back.

They find themselves at the same university. Still carrying things they never had the words for.

He's trying to be better - whoever "better" is.
And the other? He's mastered the art of pretending not to care.

But silence doesn't heal everything.

And feelings have a way of growing in the cracks regret leaves behind.

This isn't a love story. Not at first.
It's a story about what happens when the past refuses to stay in the past... and when two people realize that even broken things can want to be whole again.

Hello to anyone who's reading this.

Honestly, I began this book as an amateur...so , it's understandable that it might not be worth your time or it doesn't make you yearn for more. But if you'll still read it then...its nice...I guess.

Not gonna spoil...but there's some stuff in the book that is not appropriate and I don't support them. Its just for the book and it's okay to skip if uncomfortable.

About updates? That's something I won't talk about because my pace is slower than that of a snail. But I'd like you to have patience...just a bit.

That's all. Hope you enjoy the book. Comment your thoughts and vote too...if you want to...I ain't forcing anyone.

Love y'all.
