Falling Against The Rules [Yeongyu]

Beomgyu worked twice as much to pay his two-month house rent debt .He would have already paid it if he didn't have to enroll Hoon to a school but he didn't regret his choice.He believed Hoon had the potential to do much but it was not exploited. Since he was already done with school he would work for as long as he could to make the ends meet.
On Saturday afternoons,the staff had to stay back inorder to get their weekly paycheck.After what seemed like an eternity,he felt like he would be able to pay for the rent if he was added a few more days.When he arrived home,Hoon hadn't yet arrived. He thought that maybe he had gone to get something for him to eat.His feet felt heavy,he made his way to the bathroom to freshen up but felt something is not right.He suddenly felt like the world under his feet was wobbly.He tried to hold on the counter but his legs gave up.His breathing became heavy and intensified,he couldn't make out what was in front of him as his vision had blurred.He tried to reach for his phone but just as he switched it on.... everything blacked out .

Later .....
Beomgyu flattered his eyes open trying to adjust to the bright light He looked over to his side and saw two people,one who was a doctor and the other he couldn't make out.He felt the sterile smell and registered that he was currently in a hospital but the question was who took him there.
"Ooh ..he's awake." The doctor gestured at Beomgyu who was trying to get up.
"Hey..easy there ,you need to rest.Your vitals are okay but you need to stop overworking yourself.Your body requires rest "
The man beside the doctor told him but beomgyu just didn't have it in him to listen to him rather he had a pending rent to be paid .
"Who are you and how did you find me?"
"Well your brother...I guess, he called my residence and my son went to help."
"How's that even possible,he doesn't know you, neither do I."
"Well believe it or not,he is the one who saved your life."
"I'm sorry sir but I don't have money to pay you back for what you've done but I'm so grateful."
"I don't think you have to pay me anything because your father already did that."
"B...but...he....he is dead."
" I know that Beomgyu."he said as he showed Beomgyu the letter that his father left for him.
" I'm Mr Choi, the one whom your father mentioned in his letter . I'm sure he said that if you needed help you would came to me. So you don't have to worry about paying me or the rent ,it's all cleared."
" How I'm i supposed to believe that you don't want something from me in return?"Beomgyu snapped.
" Maybe.. you're right ...I do need something from you."he said with a stern face
Beomgyu's breathe hitched. What would this man want from him if not money
"What do you want?"
Before Mr Choi could tell beomgyu what he wanted , Hoon ran in and hugged his brother tightly.
"I thought I had lost you" Hoon said while sniffling.
"Hey...it's alright ,I'm here and I'm doing fine."
Hoon let go of Beomgyu and went to Mr Choi.
"Thank you uncle for helping my brother and for giving me a place to stay."
Beomgyu was confused at Hoon's confession.What did he mean by 'a place to stay'?
"Um..Hoon what do you mean?"
"Uncle here helped in paying the house rent and then he told me to pack our stuff because he will take care of us from now on"
"You..WHAT??!" Beomgyu shouted at Hoon.
"I'm sorry hyung" Hoon said as he ran out with tears.
"Hey come down. You should not snap at him ,he did nothing wrong. I just helped you."
" Sir,I don't want to sound rude but my brother and I  don't want your help."
" Earlier,your situation said quite the opposite."
" Wait ...how long have I been here?"
" About two days now."
" Two days!! I definitely lost my job,how will we survive now"he tugged on his hairs.
" I told you needed my help"
" No i don't "he said with a sad pout.
" Now that you're awake,why don't we get you ready to go home."
Mr Choi called the doctor while the nurses were busy taking care of Beomgyu's things.
After being discharged,Mr Choi led him to the car that had come to pick them up. When he entered he found Hoon silently crying while hugging his knees , making him feel so guity. He raised Hoon's chin so that he could look at him.His doe eyes were red and puffy and his little nose was also red.Beomgyu wipes the little ones tears with his thumbs and gave him a soft hug.
"I'm sorry I yelled at you." He apologized
"It's ok,I know that you loved that place,I can try to talk to uncle so that..." He was shushed as Beomgyu put a finger on his lips.
"I love you more than that place,all the happy or sad memories in that place are there because you were there with me. I know you are not to blame ,I am."
" I love you,hyungie"
" I love you more Hoonie"
Mr Choi smiled as he heard the conversation between the two boys.
