Falling Against The Rules [Yeongyu]

It was now a whole week and Beomgyu hadn't spoken to the older.And Yeonjun...he was clueless and he really tried his best to find out what  happened to Beomgyu and why his attitude changed towards him but it was useless. Beomgyu didn't even spare Yeonjun a glance let alone talk to him.
  Mr Choi had noticed the tension between the two boys and he made a decision that he thought could make them reconcile even though they were hostile towards each other from the first time they met.
"Yeonjun, Beomgyu come to the living room right now." Mr Choi called out for the two boys who came from their rooms.
"So I have something for the both of you" he handed a letter to each.
"No way I finally got an acceptance letter from the Seoul university. "Beomgyu squealed
To Yeonjun ,Beomgyu looked  so happy. He might not have wanted to say it out loud but he liked it when the latter was happy. If only he knew what caused the younger's aura to change within a span of 24 hours.
"Aren't you opening yours?"
With that Yeonjun opened his letter and surprisingly he got accepted to the same university as Beomgyu.He didn't know how the younger would feel if he knew they're gonna be stuck together in the university.He decided not to talk until Beomgyu was out of his sight and thirty minutes later Beomgyu left for his room.
"Yeonjun you haven't said anything since you opened that letter. Anything wrong?"
" Can I get a change of universities ?"
"And why is that? Wasn't that your dream uni?"
" It was ,it still is but.... things are complicated now."
" Is there something bothering you? I really don't like the atmosphere between you and Beomgyu. Did something happen between the two of you when I was gone?"
" That's the thing. He became distant all over a sudden and when I ask him he just assumes my presence. Everytime I'm close to him he looks awfully sad, always frowning but when he's far from me he looks happy with the people close to him. Now that we got admitted to the same university,I feel like I'll still make him uncomfortable around me and it's clear that he doesn't want anything to do with me."
Mr Choi chuckled then he held his son's hand.
"I don't know from when you started caring about people's feelings but all I can say is that Beomgyu has an effect on you to a point you want to change universities for his sake. If that is what you want then I guess I don't have a say in that. Tomorrow we'll check out another suitable uni..."
" Don't ."
Both Mr Choi and Yeonjun turned only to see Beomgyu standing behind them.
"Beomgyu dear for how long have you been standing there?"
" Not for long"
" Ok. What were you saying earlier ?"
"Oh that... Don't change universities. I'll be ok with Yeonjun in the same university despite our differences and we are not pursuing the same major."
Yeonjun felt a glimmer of hope rising. He smiled at Beomgyu who didn't return back the smile and went to his room.
"Well I guess it's solved. Son, I hope whatever is going on between the both of you will change. I know you can solve it but don't go hard on him. He definitely has his reasons why he's mad at you."
      3rd persons pov
After Beomgyu received his letter he went back to his room to take a bath. He wanted to set up some music for his therapeutical bath but then he had left his phone on the dinning table.He went to take it when he heard familiar voices conversing.
"Can I get a change of universities ?"
"And why is that? Wasn't that your dream uni?"
" It was and it still is but.... things are complicated now"

He was puzzled. How did Yeonjun not know what happened between them? He  must have been lying to his father.But he wanted to change universities for his sake? Everything seemed so confusing for him. Yeonjun sounded sincere that he didn't know what happened between them but changing universities wouldn't change anything that happened between them,despite him being angry at him, he didn't want Yeonjun to lose a chance in going to his dream university because of him.
"Don't."  That was it. That was the decision he had made.To let Yeonjun go to his dream university but ...stay away from him.
