Sophie has pronouns...

Furfur doesn't like to get attached to motherly figures, which is why she tends to drift towards Will and Rori as opposed to Evangeline.  She associates motherly behavior with loss and grief.

Dana has zero trauma get the fuck out

Azrael only wears baggy hoodies to cover his body type as much as he can because he's insecure about it, especially because he hasn't gotten his surgery yet. The bright pink, blue, and purple aren't just for the bi flag, but also to draw attention away from his actual body.

En was raised without love.  Their identity was also a marketing strategy for their parents when they came out- having a non-binary casino dealer could draw in a larger queer audience.

Evangeline worked as an office assistant to an older man at the age of fifteen and was paid very well. But despite what happened to her... she stayed for the money, because she felt she owed it to her aunt, who took her in and raised her even though she didn't have much.

Marzy has internalized the belief that he is the reason his parents divorced.  His dad walked out the night Marzy came out.

Rori loves to show affection, but any touch towards him terrifies him after his childhood.

Tristan didn't get all of his scars from street fights.  A lot were from hate crimes. Most of his barbed wire scars are results of one of those instances.

Iris cannot form his own opinion on something.  He immediately defaults to what his parents would do or say.

Stolas is similar to certain owl species in the sense that they mate for life and only ever have one partner. He had his one chance already.

Ryn couldn't escape all the abuse from her father. While her treatment was much tamer than her brother's, her father would see her mother in her frequently, and it would anger him.
