Three days after the second ultrasound – Backstage conference room, Berlin
The room smelled like coffee and tension.
Tokio Hotel sat on one side of the long table — Tom, Bill, Gustav, and Georg. Phantom Youth sat on the other — Isadora, Nina (with a scarf tied over her growing hair), Eli, and Santi.
The managers stood at the head of the table with a folder thick enough to break glass.
“I’m not gonna sugarcoat it,” said Dieter, the head of Tokio Hotel’s management team. “This is beyond tabloid gossip now. This was a criminal breach of medical records. And someone’s going to jail.”
Tom’s jaw clenched. Isadora reached under the table and held his hand.
“There’s no doubt,” Simone, one of the Phantom Youth managers, added. “We traced the leak to an intern who was fired weeks ago. But the tabloid that paid him — they crossed a federal line.”
“We’re filing charges,” Dieter confirmed. “And this time, your personal lives won’t be sacrificed for silence.”
Isadora’s POV
I was quiet for most of the meeting, but when the conversation turned to protection, I spoke up.
“I don’t care what it costs,” I said. “I’m carrying twins. I’m still working. I have a right to be safe. So does Tom. So do our fans.”
Everyone nodded.
“You’re right,” Bill said gently. “And we’re with you. All of us.”
My heart warmed at that.
Later That Night – Home (Penthouse Living Room)
I sank into the couch, exhausted. Tom flopped beside me, his cap pushed back, his eyes heavy.
“We’re suing a gossip magazine,” he murmured. “We’re gonna be parents. And I still haven’t figured out that damn crib drawer.”
I laughed — really laughed — for the first time in a week.
“They can write what they want,” I said. “We’ve got the truth. And two heartbeats.”
He turned to me and whispered, “And you.”
