Isadora’s POV
The second I opened my eyes, my phone was buzzing nonstop.
Texts. Calls. Mentions.
Articles.
Tom was still asleep beside me, one arm wrapped protectively around my waist, his chest rising and falling against my back. The penthouse was quiet — too quiet for how loud the world outside suddenly felt.
I slid my phone off the nightstand and opened it.

I put the phone down and sat up slowly, pressing a hand to my stomach. I could already feel it — the weight of fame, the heat of people watching our every move.
Then came the knock on the door.
Tom stirred. “Who’s that?”
I got up, slid on one of his oversized hoodies, and padded barefoot to the door.
It was Simone, Tom’s mom. Her eyes looked tired, but kind.
“Hey, sweetheart,” she said. “Mind if I come in?”
Later that morning – Living Room
Simone sat across from us, her hands folded in her lap. She looked from Tom to me, her expression unreadable.
“I saw the video last night,” she said gently. “You were brave. You told the truth.”
Tom leaned forward. “Are you mad?”
She smiled faintly. “Mad? No. But you both need to understand something — this is going to be loud. The media won’t let go of this. And the labels? They’re already in talks.”
Right on cue, Tom’s phone rang. He stepped away to take the call — it was his manager.
I turned to Simone. “Are we in trouble?”
She shook her head. “Not trouble. But pressure? Yes. They’re going to want statements. Appearances. A strategy to ‘save face’.” She rolled her eyes a little. “But we’ll figure it out.”
Tom’s POV – A few minutes later
Tom came back, running a hand through his dreads.
“They’re not happy,” he said. “They think it should’ve been handled with a planned announcement. But they’re… supportive. Just frustrated.”
“Are they going to make us split up?” I asked quietly.
Tom dropped to his knees in front of me. “No one’s making us do anything.”
I could tell he was trying to stay calm for me — but I knew him too well. His jaw was tight, and his fists were clenched. “We’ll lay low for a bit. Cancel press. Focus on the babies. The band. Us.”
Just then, Bill called, followed by Nina. My phone buzzed again. And again.
Bill’s text:
“Ignore the haters. You looked beautiful last night. I’m proud of you, Izzy.”
Nina’s text:
> “Internet’s on fire but YOU ARE TOO. Let them talk. I got your back.”
And finally, a notification from the official Disney Music account:
“Congratulations to our rising star Isadora Almeida on her exciting news. We wish her all the love and light on this journey. #OnceUponADecember”

Some fans were heartbroken.
Some were furious.
But many were flooding the internet with love.
