Nina was practically glued to the hotel desk chair, fingers flying over her chunky silver laptop. Jules leaned over her shoulder, chewing on a lollipop.
> “This VelvetSick girl’s leaving a trail of crumbs,” Nina muttered.
They traced her old usernames across obscure forums, blog comments, even a fan-fiction site where she’d written twisted stories…
…starring Tom. Obsessively.
“Okay, this is full psycho,” Jules said. “It’s her. Has to be.”
“She’s been watching them since before Phantom Youth even started touring.”
They screenshot everything — the edits, the IP address matches, her weird comments about “ruining fake girls,” and one blog post titled:
> “He Should’ve Been Mine.”
Tom was pacing. He couldn’t stay still. His baggy jeans dragged on the carpet, oversized hoodie clinging to his shoulders.
Bill sat on the windowsill, arms crossed.
“You’re not crazy,” Bill said finally. “I remember her too. The weird girl in Berlin.”
“She kept sending letters to the house,” Tom admitted. “Fan stuff. At first, it was harmless. Then she said she wanted to ‘fix’ me.”
“Why didn’t you say anything?”
“I didn’t want it to be a thing. I thought she’d stop.”
Bill shook his head. “Well, now it’s a thing. And we’re stopping her.”
Isadora’s manager, Rafaela, stared at her screen.

Subject: I warned you. He’s mine.
Attached: a collage of edited photos of Tom and Annika, poorly photoshopped together — some romantic, some weirdly aggressive. Alongside them, more shots of Tom and Isadora with slurs scrawled in red text.
Rafaela picked up the phone. “David. We have a problem.”
That night, after a tense band meeting, Tom walked out of the hotel room, hoodie up, fists clenched.
He texted Bill:
> Tom:
if I see her again, I swear...
She messed with his relationship. She endangered Isadora.
No more silence. No more brushing it off.
