Later in the car with my mom...
"So how did you staying at Toby's house go?" My mom said
"Uh good."
"So tomorrow we're having dinner with his family to discuss our plans."
"Oh my gosh do we have to do everything with them!" I said out loud by accident
"Spencer I thought you liked Toby!"
"I do it's just , never mind."
"Okay then." My mom said
Mrs Hastings POV
On the phone with Toby's mom...
"So for our dinner plans... How's tomorrow at 6?" I said
"Sounds great!" She says
"Oh and tell Toby and Jenna to bring someone to dinner I'm going to ask Spencer if she wants to bring her boyfriend"
"Okay sounds good"
I hang up and walk in the living room...
Mrs Cavanaughs POV:
"Toby!! Jenna!! Come down here" I said
Toby an Jenna walk down stairs
"Veronica said for you guys to bring someone to dinner tomorrow because Spencer is going to bring her boyfriend."
Toby's smile faded
"Toby everything alright?"
"Yep everything's fine." Toby scoffed
"I'm going to ask Noel if he wants to come with me!" Jenna said
"Alright sounds good Toby are you going to bring anyone?"
Toby's POV:
Oh wow Spencer ALREADY got another boy friend WOW I guess Spencer doesn't like me... okay fine I'm going to ask... um I'll ask Mona! We sit next to each other in science class and we've been getting closer.
"Hello Toby?"
"What uh yea I'm going to bring Mona!" I exited
"Uh okay." My mom said
Spencer's POV:
Tomorrow morning...
I walk down stairs about to leave
"Wait spence!"
"Yea what's up mom?"
"Bring Alex tonight for dinner!"
Oh shit I forgot to tell her about Alex.
"Uh mom... Me and Alex broke up."
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry are you okay?!"
"I'm fine I just have to go to school."
"Alright you can bring someone else instead? Toby and Jenna are bringing someone"
WHAT TOBY HAS A GIRL FRIEND!??
"Uh okay bye mom!" I yelled
Fine Toby doesn't like me I'll bring my own stupid date to dinner tonight!
Toby was walking out of his house with Jenna
Our eyes met and we both shot each other a dirty look (no pun intended)
