"I think you're slipping, Berlin. Hold on tight."

He says seconds away before we land just inside the gates. The bodyguards pay us no mind as we land. I feel shocked and scared, looking up at the castle above me. Does he really live here?!

The large and tall doors present before me as if a smack to my face --- comparing it to my small house. This is too.. amazing it's making me jealous. I can't believe I'm about to enter a castle. Just a few steps ahead and I can see what's inside.. My heart thrums in excitement, The roof is a gorgeous dark amethyst of purple and grey, blending well with the cobbled beige walls. Does he grow up in here all his life...? I really want to ask him... Even if he hates me.

"Did you really grow up in here when you were a child..??"

"Yes, I live here. Now will you stop molesting me with your questions and follow me inside. Quietly. And please remember this one important thing. We are currently in demon territory and it is extremely important to lay low. I don't want them to think that you are some edible snack and I certainly don't want any unnecessary attention that will get you kidnapped after. It is a demon territorial thing.. and demons usually have humans for their..... breakfast." He adds, laughing a low chuckle.

My eyes bulge as saucers, a cold shiver running down my arms. I instantly spin around to run, but he grabs my by the wrist, "I'm joking. I'm saying that there are demons like me who have humans as their bride. So it isn't rare to see one around here. Oh, and other species like werewolves do exist, if you didn't know that..." He trails off and looks away, as if looking far away into the distance. I watch him ridiculingly before he spins around and walks far ahead of me towards the doors, leaving me behind. I roll my eyes. To think that I have a crush on him. It's his fault for carrying me and holding me so close the other day. I still miss my own apartment compared to this place. Lie.

"There are actually other species?" I can't keep the shock from coming out of my voice as the bodyguards open the big doors for him. I run to catch up behind him.

"Do you ever listen to a thing I say?" He doesn't answer except he says with an annoying tone. Don't blame me that I forgot about it. Sometimes I can't remember stuff ever since I've met him. Maybe it's because it seems he's still annoyed the fact that I'd kept him waiting for me to jump out of that damned window.... In my defense, I'm literally new to all this, why can't he just be friendly--- at all?

My heart nervously drums vigorously, deafening my eardrums as I enter the castle. Its thick mahogany doors distract me as I enter. They must be at least seven meters taller than me. The creaking of the door is loud and almost deafens my ears as I enter, revealing a grand reveal of something magical I've never seen before. It has a golden chandelier with shining, clear glass of tiny bulbs that surrounds every inch of the chandelier, shining down on the whole room. Then I see the majestic set of stairs. A staircase that loops on both sides that leads to both corridors, which I guess leads to a lot of rooms.

Red and gold combination might be my favorite now..

I gape in awe. And my eyes almost bulge to oblivion as each side of each step of stairs are maids wearing black and white clothing, bowing their heads down, keeping their eyes closed with a small smile playing on their lips. How does he hire so many maids. It is a really high staircase. I'm going to trip and fall if I ever lived in here.. I slowly climb up, following Archer's lead as he pays them no mind while he leisurely climbs up the staircase. They greet him as they bow their heads with a small smile playing on their lips. So.. professional. Is this a real life or am I actually dreaming?

I gape in awe and I guarantee I won't be able to keep my mouth closed for a while.
