"Should we really go?" I ask before we actually leave.
"Stop whining. But yes." He lifts my bag like he's showing me what he got in his hands making my face turn sour. How can I ever be in a good mood again after all this kidnapping?
"But shouldn't we use the main door instead?"
"Secrecy is top priority and I won't take the risk of us being recognized by meeting strangers that are currently going home to their apartments."
"And you're awfully calm for someone who's going to be forgotten about by everyone in this city." He mutters.
"Yeah... about that, I think I changed my mind."
"What?" He snaps his head to me so fast I almost run the other way.
"I mean, I have to think about this again. I-I have a friend I certainly don't want to forget me-"
"You're too late. You signed the papers, so now you're coming with me. You belong to me now." His eyes glow a ruby red. In the dark, I forget he's a demon. A real demon and it is extremely terrifying when he's this close to me. His red eyes gleam as the darkest blood in the dark as he stares- stares at me with scrutiny.
I don't think twice as I turn and bolt straight for the door before I hear him click his tongue from afar and somehow, pulls at my wrist. But I thought he was over by the window?!
"You can't run away from me." And in two big strides he drags me over and we're currently standing by the window. I refuse to look at him. My heart is drumming like crazy and I'm scared to death.
"Are you coming or what?" I look up and he is staring right at me, his pupils don't budge and I almost cower under his stern gaze because he's probably thinking of so many different ways of how he's going to eat me alive once we get home.
And come to think of it, I notice the moon is starting to change color. The silver moonlight terrifyingly changes into a hue of blue before it settles on the outer circle, offering a blue hue moonlight. Then suddenly the center transforms into a dark red color, bleeding out its color into an outside ratio, making it red all over. Doomsday must have arrived or it is trying to put a curse on me.
It is spelled D. E. A. T. H.
Yeeeet! No way this is happening!
"Earth to Berlin, we are going. Now." He says in an impatient tone.
I blink from the exertion of staring at the moon. I look at him with distraught, a sign of pleading secrecy but he doesn't respond as he looks at me with his emotionless, cold eyes that I am sure it is his signature look.
And my heart sinks to my stomach. He looks annoyed and angry as fuck with that frown of his eyebrows and I really don't want myself to get killed. I give a small sigh. "Yes, I'm coming..." I relent. If I don't do this for myself he's going to snap my neck like a small twig. So, I really have to.
I suddenly regret it as he grabs me by the waist and he looks at me --- we're ready to jump from the third floor to the basement---the ground floor, I mean. And to think that this man is really prissy, and annoying and out of context.
I'm really not a fan of him--
My breath hitch with panic as we jump from the window.
Suddenly a swirling vine of dark smoke comes out from his fingertips, surrounding us. What the heck?! They come out from his fingers and it's making me feel really cold all of a sudden. Colder than anything I've ever felt on my skin. As we jump, the smoke surrounds me and supports my weight like the ground itself. Oh my god I'm flying?!!!
