He lifts his hand upwards in mid-air and suddenly black smoke comes out of his fingers. I bet they're cold as fuck as they are before. It swirls out of his fingers as it creates a magical spark.

It stops a few inches before his fingers and a small spark of a light jolts before it spreads out, the blackness massively turns into a black hole, and is now a tornado with little beads of glitters swirling clockwise. It really looks like a black hole.

"Is this the...."

"The portal. Yes. We're going straight through it all the way back home."

"Where?" I haven't finished my words when he suddenly reaches out and grabs me by the waist like a free potato, and jumps, taking us both into a whirlwind of the black pool. I scream in panic as I feel the coldness engulf me. I close my eyes and wait for all of this to be over.

"Hey, open your eyes, you're going to miss out the view." I give a small whimper and slowly peek an eye open and see a million stars of pink inside the portal, spinning at a steady speed.

Oh what the fuck.

He releases his hold as we travel.

Not long after a few minutes we suddenly land in a mysterious place. Its eerily cold air greets my bare armed skin. I'm in a nearby forest and in front of me is a bustling town, where there are people and small houses lined up in a straight line. Most of them have brown roofs and people buying stuff from their market stalls.

I squint my eyes to see it clearer but he grabs my left wrist and tugs at it.

"Let's go. I don't want to keep my people waiting."

"Your people...? What do you me-"

Suddenly I'm lifted two feet high up in the air and to my horror, there are black wings that are the culprit of my disastrous shock.

He has wings?! I'm going to get a heart attack when I get old. Imagine meeting a man in a cafe then says he's a demon, and then suddenly sprouts a pair of wings and then makes you fly into the sky with him. I scream but he instantly covers my mouth. Instantly.

"Shh. Don't scream like a lunatic, I don't want people to think I'm kidnapping you.." He sighs and rolls his eyes. That's the biggest eye roll he's ever given me. I narrow my eyes.

"Asdhjej.." Only gibberish came out of my mouth.

"What?" He raises an eyebrow looking extremely annoyed.

I remove his hand from my mouth, "You don't tell people you're a demon and suddenly grow wings! Like what is that?!" I point my finger to his night black wings. They are feathery, big and gigantically black. I think it's blacker than the night itself. I almost lose my senses looking at it because now I'm flying further into the air as we reach the clouds. "And how do you control your wings so easily?"

"Well, some of them have wings, some aren't born with one. Now will you please stop acting like a stupid girl?"

I can't escape his grasp as he holds me by the waist and I can't help but feel comfortable in his hold. He is, rather attractive, but prissy to no tomorrow. "You know, you're holding a little tight around my waist?"

"Oh, oh.. you're protesting. Do you want me to let you go?" He chuckles lowly. I look down. We're five metres high in the air.

"Wait- wait!" I squeal, "Please don't let me go. I'll really fall into the ground..!" I beg with no other choice.

I give him a stink eye. Our eyes meet as he doesn't budge, stays stone-cold as I can't read what he's feeling at all. It makes my heart race really fast that we're this close.

How dare he carry a woman like this! This man is the most absurd male that I've ever met in my entire life. Not to mention everything he says is annoying. I bet he hates me with his biggest guts!

And then as if he can read my thoughts, he picks up his pace and dives down, "I'll make myself invisible now." He says with a smirk on his face or is that a happy smile from doing one of his magical tricks? Hopefully he doesn't say he's a half-angel next.

"Oh, I'm a half-fairy, and I can read your mind you know."

"What?"

"We're this close so I can hear bits of your thoughts. Fairy powers." He adds once he looks into my eyeballs. He doesn't hold back on his low chuckle. I feel like I'm getting more of his chuckling laughs that maybe intend to mock me. I promise I'm not a hilarious person. Not the kind to make jokes out of myself.

I feel my stomach tingling as we dive and head straight for the market. I close my eyes shut tight, the cold air breezes past me like an enigma that I squeal, feeling frightened as I feel his fingers wrap around my waist like a plaque, lingering for far too long that I actually like it, and also, it keeps the area warm.
