Christian sat on the couch, sipping decaf coffee while Vrix moved about the nursery with a determined look. The faint smell of paint lingered in the air, and Christian couldn't help but chuckle as he noticed Vrix's shirt speckled with blue paint.

Christian then playfully teased his alpha, "Did you roll on the walls instead of using a brush, Mr. Multibillionaire?"

Vrix grinned. "I wanted to make sure it was perfect. But I didn't expect the paint to attack me back."

Christian shook his head, amused but secretly touch by how much effort Vrix was putting into the nursery. He set his coffee down and stood making his way to the doorway to inspect the room.

The nursery was painted a soft, calming blue, with white accents on the trim and ceiling. A crib was already assembled in the corner, and plush toys were neatly arranged on shelves. Vrix turned to Christian, his expression a mix of pride and nervousness. "So... what do you think? I know I didn't ask, but blue feels calming, you know? For the baby."

Christian crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow. "You didn't ask me because you know I wouldn've chosen something better. Like green or yellow," he said nervously.

Vrix then stepped closer. "Okay, fine. I'll let you pick the next color. But admit it, blue looks good."

Christian soften. "It does. It's beautiful, Vrix. Thank you."

Vrix smiled, relief washing over his face. He reached out, gently placing his hand on Christian's belly. "I just want everything to be ready. For you and the baby."

Christian placed his hand over Vrix's, feeling the warmth and sincerity in his touch. He gazed at the nursery, his heart swelling with emotion. "You're doing so much, Vrix. Sometimes it feels like I don't deserve this," he whispered.

Vrix frowned. "Don't say that. You and this baby are everything to me. I want to give you both the world."

Christian looked up at him, tears brimming in his eyes. He quickly wipped them away, embarrased while laughing softly. "Ugh, hormones. Don't mind me crying like a faucet."Vrix chuckled. "You can cry all you want. I'll just be here, ready to hold you."

Christian rolled his eyes but allowed himself to lean into Vrix's embrace.

As they stood there, the baby gave a strong kick, making Christian gasp. "Did you feel that?"

Vrix excitedly said, "Yes! That's our baby saying hello!"

They both laughed, the sound filling the nursery and making it feel even more alive. Vrix leaned down, pressing his forehead gently against Christian's. "I'll be here for every kick, every moment. You'll never have to do this alone."

Christian smiled, feeling more secure than ever.

As the day ended, Christian lay on the couch, resting his feet, while Vrix sat beside him, scrolling through nursery inspiration on his tablet.

Christian teasingly said, "Just don't buy anything too expensive, okay? Our baby doesn't need a golden crib."

"But what if they inherit your high taste, huh?" Vrix pretended, considering his Omega's words.Christian threw a pillow at him, laughing as Vrix caught it midair. "Fine, but if you insist on buying something extravagant, I'm naming the baby something ridiculous."

Vrix leaned closer, smirking. "Deal. But I still get to pain the nursery ceiling with stars. For you and the baby. My two stars."

Christian's heart fluttered at his words. "You're getting better at this while romantic alpha thing, you know?" he said softly.

Vrix, smiling, "I'm just getting started."

And for the first time in a long while, Christian felt like their future was going to be just as beautiful as the nursery they were building together.
