Christian lies awake in bed, staring at the ceiling. His conversation with Perlas keeps replaying in his mind. Hindi talaga n'ya alam kung anong gagawin niya. Kahit na ilang beses pa ito sabihin. But somehow, Perlas' words haunt him.

"You can't keep running forever."

Yes, it's true. He can't keep running forever, lalo pa at isa siya sa client ng company. Even his boss wants him to entertain Vrix.

With a deep breath, Christian decides it's time. He has to tell Vrix. Tanggapin man nito o hindi, he should be ready.

If tanggapin n'ya ang bata sa sinapupunan niya, then, it's good. But if not, it makes his heart ache for his child that haven't been born yet.

If he won't accept the child, then, he won't pester him. 

Christian asks Vrix to meet him at a quiet café outside the city and this makes him wants to vomit as his nervousness came over him. Luckily, before his said time, he calmed down.

When Vrix arrives, he notices Christian's nervous demeanor but doesn't comment on it. He didn't even know what's there to be nervous about.

Vrix smiled at him, as if trying to seduce him. "So, what's this about? You've been avoiding me for weeks. Hindi ka rin pumapasok sa work mo."

Christian gulped. He didn't know that he's been looking for him. He looked away. "I was on leave." Yes, that's right, he's on maternal leave.

Napakunot naman si Vrix sa nakita niya. "On leave? May problema ba?"

Christian hesitantly shook his head. "There's something I need to tell you. It's..." he paused and it took him a minute before he added, "About that night."

Vrix leans back in his chair, his expression guarded. His eyebrow raised as he remembered that night when Christian was in his heat cycle. Nodding his head, "Go on."

Christian takes a deep breath, clutching the edge of the table. Parang gusto na lamang niyang masuka sa sobrang kaba. "I'm pregnant, Vrix. And it's yours."
