Christian is lying on the hospital bed, visibly more at ease than in previous days. Akala niya hindi siya masasanay na may tumutulong sa kaniya but look at him now, halos hindi na makagalaw pag wala si Vrix.

He smiled, and his hand rested on his slightly rounded belly, a small, content smile playing on his lips as he felt the occasional flutter of movement from his baby. "May pinuntahan lang si Daddy, baby."

Vrix enters the room with a bouquet of fresh flowers and a bag of Christian's favorite snacks. Christian smiled at him and teased him, "You're spoiling me, Gallano. Are you trying to bribe me with food?"

Vrix grinned. "Just making sure my omega and baby are happy."

Christian rolls his eyes but can't hide the amusement on his face.

As the two sit in comfortable silence, Christian suddenly freezes, his eyes widening. Christian gasped. "Wait—Vrix, come here! Bilis!"

Vrix rushes to his side, concern flashing across his face. "What's wrong? Are you okay?"

Christian grabs Vrix's hand and places it gently on his stomach. "There! Did you feel that?" he said, smiling.

Vrix stills, his eyes lighting up as he feels the faint but unmistakable kick. His breath catches, and for a moment, he's speechless. "That's... our baby," he said softly. He felt fascinated.

Christian watches as a rare, unguarded smile spreads across Vrix's face. Vrix then looked up and met Christian's eyes. "This is the most incredible thing I've ever felt."

Christian smirked. "Don't get too excited. The baby takes after me, not you. It's my genes that are good."

Napatitig naman si Vrix at saka mahinang tumawa at tumatangong sinabi, "Yes, it's your genes that are good."

Later, as Christian naps, Perlas arrives to check on her best friend. She pulls Vrix aside in the hallway. "You've been stepping up, I'll give you that. But don't think for a second that I'll go easy on you if you hurt him again," she said sternly as she warned him.

Vrix nodded his head, "I know, Pat. I'm not here to play games anymore. I'm trying to make things right for him and our baby."

Pat softens slightly, crossing her arms. "Good. Because if you mess this up, you'll answer to me—and trust me, you don't want that."

"Understood." Vrix gave her a smile.

Later that evening, Christian's mother, Shang, visits. She notices how Vrix quietly lingers near Christian's bed, a mix of guilt and determination on his face, so he pulls Vrix aside for a quiet conversation.

"Christian may be tough on the outside, but he's been through more than you know. If you're serious about this, you need to show him, not just with words but with actions."

"I will, ma'am. I won't let him down again."

Shang, nodding, said, "Good. But remember, if you ever hurt my son, I won't hesitate to protect him from you."

"Vrix, I can see you're trying. But Christian is my son, and he's been through more than you can imagine. If you're serious about this, you need to show him through your actions."

"I understand, ma—"

Shang interrupts him, raising an eyebrow. "Call me Mom, not ma'am. If you're going to be a part of this family, start acting like it." She then looked at Vrix firmly.

Vrix looks surprised, then gives a small, grateful smile. Like mother, like son. "Thank you... Mom. I won't let you or Christian down."

"Good. Just remember, if you hurt my son, you'll have me to deal with."

The next morning, Vrix steps out of the hospital for a brief moment, only to be bombarded by reporters.

"Mr. Gallano, is it true that you're here because of an omega?" -Reporter 1

"Are the rumors about your omega being pregnant true?" -Reporter 2

Vrix hesitates but finally decides to address the situation, knowing it's time to take a stand. "Yes, my omega is pregnant. I'm here to support them and my child. That's all I have to say for now," he said calmly, which made everyone surprised.

The reporters clamor for more information, but Vrix doesn't reveal Christian's name, determined to protect him from the public eye.

Inside the hospital room, Christian sees the news on TV. His eyes widen as he listens to Vrix's statement.

"He told the world... but he kept me safe. At least even though he made our relationship low-key, he did not deny me." He smirked. "Subukan n'ya lang ideny ako at hahambalusin ko siya ng kaliwa't kanang sampal."

A small, genuine smile breaks across his face, tears welling in his eyes.

Vrix re-enters the room, looking slightly frazzled but relieved. Christian glances at him, his smile still lingering. "You didn't have to do that, you know." Nakangiting bungad ni Christian sa kaniyang alpha.

Nagkibit-balikat naman si Vrix na parang wala lamang ito sa kaniya. "I did. You and our baby deserve to be acknowledged. And I'll protect both of you, no matter what."

Christian wipes away a stray tear, his heart softening a little more. "Maybe... You're not so bad after all, Gallano."

Vrix smiled and leaned forward. Their face is only one inch away from each other. "And you're too good, Martinez," he said and place his lips to Christian's lips.
