Christian discovers that his life has taken an unexpected turn. After trying to erase the memory of his night with Vrix, the revelation of his pregnancy leaves him conflicted, while his closest friend Perlas urges him to face reality. Meanwhile, Vrix unknowingly inches closer to uncovering the truth.
"I took a test. Positive. My life is officially over. I'm not ready for this."
He tweeted with photos of the male omega pregnancy test.
Christian stares at the pregnancy test in his hand, trembling as the two lines confirm what he had feared. He slumps onto the bathroom floor, tears streaming down his face.
Christian whispered, "What am I going to do now?"
He clutches his knees to his chest, overwhelmed by fear and uncertainty.
Later that day, Christian calls Perlas, his closest friend, to break the news with his voice shaking, "Ate Pat... I need to tell you something."
Perlas, ever the lively and jolly friend, immediately senses the seriousness in Christian's voice. Her eyebrow raised and asked, "What's wrong, Sid? Spill it."
Christian hesitates, took a deep breath, then blurts out, "I'm pregnant."
There's a moment of stunned silence before Perlas responds. Perlas: "Wait, what? Pregnant? As in... with a baby?!"
Christian smiled bitterly, "Yes. With a baby. And the Alpha... he doesn't know."
Perlas looked at her friend whom she considered as her littler brother. She was stupified. As a beta, she doesn't know anything about what kind of pheromones affect the alpha and omega but when it comes to her friends, she's well aware of it.
She then asked continuously, "Let me guess—Vrix? 'Yung kinukwento mo sa 'kin noong nakaraan? Oh my god, Sid. Does he even care about you? Does he even know what happened?"
Christian shook his head violently, "He doesn't need to know. It's my mess to deal with."
Perlas looks at her friend sternly, "Sid, you can't do this alone! You have to tell him. Babies aren't something you can hide forever."
Christian bit his lower lip, his fear is visible in his face. "I can't, Ate Pat. He doesn't care about me. To him, it was just one night."
Perlas sighed and felt worried for this little brother of hers. She resigned and said, "Fine. But if you don't tell him soon, you'll regret it later. You know I'm here for you, but you have to stop shutting people out."
Christian took his phone and tweeted again in his dump account. "I'm not ready for this. But I don't know if I will ever be. #ScaredOmega #I'mScared"
Meanwhile, Vrix's search for Christian intensifies. He grows more restless with each passing day, unable to shake the memory of the Omega who left him without a word.
His secretary hands him an updated report on Christian, including details about his financial struggles and work life. Vrix read what was written out loud. "Christian Martinez... works as a consultant, behind on rent, no family nearby. Why didn't you say anything, Christian?"
Vrix clenches his fist, frustration bubbling beneath his calm exterior. He's not sure why he feels such a strong pull toward Christian, but he knows one thing, he won't let the Omega slip away again.
"You can't run forever, Christian. I'll find you." Vrix thought.
Christian tries to focus on work, but he feels nauseous and exhausted throughout the day. His coworkers notice his pale complexion and constant trips to the restroom, but he brushes off their concerns with excuses.
Back at home, he sits at his small dining table, staring blankly at a stack of overdue bills. The weight of his situation bears down on him, and he lets out a frustrated sigh.
Christian said to himself, "I can't do this. How am I supposed to raise a child alone?"
He picks up his phone and starts typing a message to Vrix, but his finger hovers over the "Send" button. In the end, Christian shook his head. "No. He doesn't need to know. It's better this way."
He deletes the message and tosses his phone aside.
"I'll figure it out. Alone. As always." Christian thought.
Christian lies in bed, his hand resting protectively on his stomach. Despite his fear, a small spark of determination burns within him.
Meanwhile, Vrix stares out the window of his office, his thoughts consumed by Christian.
Vrix said quietly "You're not just anyone, Christian. I'll find you and make things right."
Alam ni Vrix na kahit hindi man niya minarkahan si Christian, alam niya na may something sa kanila. Something that pulled them to be together.
Christian took a deep breath before he logged in on his official tweeter account and posted a tweet.
"Some secrets are too heavy to keep, but I'll carry this one for as long as I have to."
"This isn't over, Christian. Not by a long shot." Vrix thought.
