Recap:
I reach the road where I turn left normally to go to my house, but there was a note stuck to the pavement on the side walk once again.
"Look" That was the only word on it, but it also had an arrow pointing behind me.
Shit I can't turn this time. I can't bring myself to do it this time.
Should I take a chance and just take a break for it? Or should I turn before I lose my nerve?

I start running.
Three steps, and...
I'm shot.
I drop to the ground, seeing the blood from my chest pooling onto the sidewalk.
I faintly hear someone walking towards me.
"This isn't one of those teen kidnapping romance novels, when the bad guy likes the girl too much to hurt her. This is real life Rebecca..."
And his voice fades away as I do.
