Jaxon was waiting near his car; waiting so he and his girlfriend could go home. Then, he saw her exit the building. Her short, brown, curly hair bouncing as she did so. She was shorter than average, but he liked that. She didn't come out alone however; she came followed by another handsome man. Jaxon felt his hands ball into fists, and his breath became heavy. She was hanging out with him more than Jaxon thought she should. He saw them together a lot. He watched as they both walked over to what he anticipated was the guy's car. He watched as Kera, his girlfriend, looked over at him with an almost pained expression. The boy slightly pushed her towards Jaxon who didn't even try to hide his confusion about her behaviour. She stopped when there was still a meter between them. Jaxon attempted to close the distance, but Kera just shook her head and took a step back. Confusion seeped into him like a waterfall fed a river. An unlimited supply of questions invaded his head without a single answer. He didn't know why she was acting like this, but he was afraid of the outcome. Before he could say anything though, she spoke the words that Jaxon dreaded hearing the most.

"I think we should see other people."

By that point she looked as if she was about to cry. "Why?" was the only word that he could manage. His body felt numb and he couldn't move. She just shook her head.

After a moment she said. "I've been trying to tell you for a while, but I just didn't know how! I hope you can forgive me."

He cut her off with an upraised hand, before she could start rambling. "Save your breath."

Tears started to flow down her face as she turned around and ran into the arms of the man who was waiting near his car. As she sobbed, Jaxon became more angry. Adrenaline was coursing through his veins like acid, and all the muscles in his body were rigid trying to contain the beast wanting to smash everything around him to bits. Without another thought, he got in his car griping the steering wheel till his knuckles turned purple. He kept trying to think of the reason as to why she'd dump him, but came up blank. He was close to asking her to marry him, but now that dream was crushed. He was always loyal to her and she could trust him with anything. In search of answers, he started to follow the car of the boy that Kera left in, out of the parking lot. He kept a safe distance so they wouldn't realize that they were being followed. He soon became aware that they weren't heading to Kera's house, but his. The car parked in the garage of a dark blue bricked house with the number six hundred and sixty six hanging from it. Jaxon parked his car a little ways from the house, and walked up to one of the windows to see a sight that consumed him with hatred and anger. Kera was kissing the man, running her hands through his hair. Jaxon felt as if the anger was eating him, slowly bit by bit it took him over, but he waited patiently for his time to strike. The time went by slowly, but eventually darkness crept into every corner. The moon was up, but blocked by dark gray clouds. He opened the window and shut it quietly behind him. As he walked towards the kitchen he purposely made the floor creak under him. He heard a small voice coming from one of the rooms down the hall.

''What was that?" Kera said, her voice thick with sleep.

The man shushed her "It was probably nothing, but I'll go and check."

Jaxon grabbed one of the kitchen knives and positioned himself next to the doorway. As the man walked in the kitchen Jaxon grabbed his head, covered his mouth and put the knife to this throat.

"You shouldn't have stolen my girl." He said in a low threatening voice next to the man's ear.

At that moment the blade was no longer on his neck, and a red liquid started dripping from his blade onto the floor. A loud thump echoed through the house as he let the limp body fall to the ground.  Pleasure ran through his body as he smiled down at the man that he had killed. A man he didn't even know the name of.

"Sweet heart? Are you ok?" Kera called.

Jaxon put the knife in his pocket. When she heard no response she ran to the kitchen. Jaxon was smiling creepily at his victim, but looked up to see her.

"Miss me?" He asked darkly.

Kera screamed at the top of her lungs and ran out the back door. Jaxon chuckled darkly and ran after her. They both ran through the fog, Kera sobbing the whole time. She didn't know where she was going so she stopped to listen if he was still on her tail. Fear was spreading through her chest, and she didn't feel safe there any longer. She turned around to run again but bumped into Jaxon.

Jaxon's arms snaked around her waist, and he whispered in her ear. "Now there is nothing in the way of you loving me."

Kera shuddered in disgust and pushed him away, but resulted in falling on her butt.  Jaxon looked at his love, but this wasn't the women he knew. The women he knew had eyes filled with love and lust. The one who sat in front of him had eyes filled with hatred and fear, and he couldn't stand it. The beast within wanted to end it. He took the blade out of his pocket and brought it against her throat. He leaned down next to her and pushed her hair out of the way as blood ran down her neck. The rain that had started only seconds before started instantly washing it away. He lay her body down; leaving with her head in his hands as a token of the love they once shared. To this day he still remains unfound.
