Under the still hum of stars and nebulae, Nikki Zurnalist sat cross-legged in the middle of the Dreaming Grounds. This place wasn't made—it was breathed into existence by her thoughts alone. Around her, faded fragments of imagination fluttered like sleepy butterflies.
Clutched in her hand was the pencil—Nyxarte's ear. It pulsed gently with light.
This pencil had carved revolutions, rewritten timelines, and summoned beings across dimensions. But for the first time, it was going to write something personal.
She opened a leather-bound book—blank, untouched, expectant.
And on the first page, in neat, divine strokes, she wrote:
"This is not a prophecy. This is not a scream into chaos."
"This is the reflection of a mind—mine."
She paused, then smiled a smile that didn't belong to any world.
With absolute certainty, she whispered the title aloud:
"Mine Mind."
As soon as the words left her lips, the stars above reshaped themselves into letters that matched.
The universe paused.
And accepted it.
Pages began to fill themselves slowly behind her, as if time and dream had waited forever for this story to start. She wrote about being both softness and silence. About balancing a mountain of siblings on her back and still walking upright. About never being angry, but always anchored.
She wrote like she was the pencil.
She wrote like she was the story.
And when she stood, she turned toward the camera of reality with her book held tightly to her chest.
"If you want to know me..." she said, voice both high and low,
"Then read the thoughts I turned into a world."
And just like that—
Nikki Zurnalist walked into her own legend.
