Time jumped like a frog on moon juice.
The once tiny infants now waddled.
Stumbled.
SCREAMED.
...And talked. Oh stars, they TALKED.
"Mommy I wanna eat Jupiter's finger–"
"Mommy, Mars peed in my wormhole–"
"NIKO DAD WHY IS THE FLOOR MELTING–"
Nyxarte, coffee-deprived and stress-sparkling, floated above the chaos in full mom-mode:
"Okay–no exploding your siblings. No summoning demons before lunch. Niko–where's your shirt???"
Niko, now a giggling mess wearing a bib that said "#1 Husband" and holding three toddlers:
"They told me to be shirtless! Peer pressure is real! :D"
One child, Mercury, invented a language made of screams.
Another, Nivelle, somehow created a sentient plush toy that kept biting ankles.
The toddler horde was unstoppable.
Reality rippled. Eldritch beings refused to babysit.
Even time called in sick.
And yet...
In the middle of it all...
Nyxarte stood strong.
With messy hair and a tired smile, magic surrounding her like warm sunlight,
She laughed, wiped drool off her shoulder, and kissed her husband's forehead.
Because this was her life.
Wild. Loud. Overwhelming.
And she loved it.
"I rule galaxies... and snotty toddlers."
And Niko? Still shirtless. Still chaotic.
Still the love of her weird, wonderful life.
