Shade's P.O.V

I hear muffled sobs coming from a certain bank room. Farley's bunk room. Farley never cries. Something's wrong. I press my ear to the rough, wooden door leading to her room, just to be sure. Yes. That's her. 

I knock lightly, silently praying she will let me in. No one should have to face these challenging times alone. I care so deeply for her, my heart aches for her to be happy, wishing she didn't have to deal with all this presure shoved onto her shoulder's. All we have is eachother now, the resxt of the scarlet guard and us, we are a team. 

"Who is it?" Farley's voice is thick with emotions, she speaks so quietly, I hardly hear her. This is not the Farley I know. Or maybe it is, just the side of her she hides. 

"It's me, Shade," I breathe, "Farls, if you ever need someone, tell me. I will be anyone one you need my to be. You don't have to talk to me, you dont have to touch me, you don't even have to look at me, Diana. But please know, I'm here for you, always."

Silence.

My heart is pounding in my chest, I wonder if she can hear it from the other side of the door. 

"Come in," she eventually murmurs, "and I like the sound of always."
