I've been procrastinating the conversation I need to have with all my soulmates. It just makes me nervous, but it's needed. I decide I can push it off a little longer, because today I'm going grocery shopping with Yumi.

I give myself more time to get ready than I did with Nick so that I don't feel super rushed when I finish my work. I also try and look around and see what exactly I might need from the grocery store; maybe I can plan some proper meals this time. I write what I need in my notes app on my phone, just in time for Yumi to arrive.

"What's up, dude," Yumi says once I open the passenger door.

"Nothing much, bro."

"Hey, so I'm not sure if you know or not, but me and the guys made a few songs for YouTube and I was wondering if you'd wanna listen to them?" He seemed apprehensive.

"I can't lie, I have watched a few of your guys' videos after you told me you were YouTubers. So, I've seen a few that are on Nick's channel." I reply, feeling a little sheepish at the admission.

"You watch our videos?"

I hug myself and shrink a little, "yeah, a lot of the time I put them on in the background while I'm working."

"That's cute." All his response does is make me blush and cover my face.

"Whatever," I mumble through my hands. It's not even that weird, but it feels weird to admit it.

"I'll put on my own album then, you might not have heard it." I hear music coming from the speakers and uncurl from myself when I feel the car start to move.

I'm immediately getting lost in how absolutely dummy hard the beat goes. Yumi sings along to his own songs, and I get entranced watching him actually rap the lyrics for me; it's like a live concert and I love it.

"I've never heard your album, but this shit bangs," I start to get into it and bob my head to the beat. "I'm adding this to my playlist."

Yumi laughs and turns the music volume down just a touch, "thanks. I've got, like so much more that's just unreleased."

"You'll have to show me some." I smile at him.

He smiles back as we pull up to a red light, "sure, next time you're over. It's all on my computer."

"Sounds like a plan to me."

Once we make it to the grocery, Yumi grabs a cart and starts pushing it for me, "so what are we getting?"

I pull open my notes app and show him, "pretty much everything on this list and anything else I see. I'm going to try and make some proper meals instead of eating ramen or Mac and cheese all the time."

"They're on the list though."

"Yeah, well, I can't completely give them up. Can you blame a girl," I roll my eyes in fake annoyance.

Yumi laughs, "lead the way."

I grab on the side of the cart while he pushes it, and we chat as I pick out random things to buy. There's something so domestic about this that I didn't expect with Yumi, and it's so lovely. He tells me about his upcoming videos and I just tell him about work and my mom.

"Would you guys like a free sample?" A younger looking worker near the produce section asks us as we pass by her stand.

"I'll never say no," Yumi says.

"Of course you wouldn't say no to food," and it's a little mean to say, but I always thought the joke was funny when the other guys did it. I smile at him, just so he gets the idea.
