There was a knock at the door, making all of our heads turn. The door knob twists and Nick and Yumi step through.
"Not this garbage," Yumi groans and points at the tv.
"EXCUSE ME?!?! YOU DID NOT JUST SAY THAT ABOUT THE BEST SHOW EVER!" I jump from where I'm sitting on the couch.
Yumi immediately throws his hands up in defense, the bag in his hand almost hitting Nick in the face, "Sorry that I don't watch crap shows!"
"Bro! Watch where you're swinging that!" Nick pushes Yumi's arm away from his face.
"Get back to work," I point in the direction of my office, "or no pizza."
"Pizza? Where?" Nick looks around confused.
"Shut up fat ass," Tanner throws a pillow from the couch at Nick.
Nick actually catches the pillow though, "maaan shut yo stupid ass up."
Nick throws the pillow back at Tanner. However, the pillow hits Larry in the crossfire and dramatically jumps back, as if he got shot.
"LARRY!!! NOOOOO! MY BOY! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO MY PRECIOUS BABY BOY!" Tanner immediately falls into a bit and grabs Larry in his arms, "IT'S GONNA BE OKAY LARRY! I PROMISE WE'LL GET YOU SOME HELP! DON'T DIE ON ME!"
"I see... The light..." Larry reaches up towards the ceiling, "tell my wife... I love her. Bleh." Larry throws his head back and fakes his death.
"What the fuck is going on?" I can't stop laughing.
"Morons, I'm going to go install this," Yumi raises the bag again and goes back to my office.
"You come to me, on the day of my son's death, and you laugh?" Tanner says with an Italian accent.
"No, I would never," I cover my mouth, trying to stifle my laughter.
Ding Dong!
"Oh, that must be the pizza," I say checking my phone to look at DoorDash.
"I got it," Nick, who was still standing at the door.
Nick opens the door and grabs the pizza from the delivery driver. He shuts the door with a little wave to the driver. I go to the attached kitchen to grab some paper plates with some paper towels and place them on top of the coffee table. I then make my way to my office and knock on the door to get Yumi's attention.
I lean on the door frame with a smile, "pizza is here."
"Thanks, I should only be a few more minutes," Yumi smiled and returned to working on my computer.
I stare at him for a minute, just kind of admiring him. He's really handsome. Honestly, all of them are. Don't be weird, Y/n. I shake my head and make my way back to the living room. I've only known them for less than 24 hours. They are my soulmates though, so does that mean feelings get rushed? Well, I can still find them attractive. I obviously wouldn't say that I love them, I just don't even know them enough, but I would say there is some weird comfort with them being here. Not only do they just have great personalities, but maybe it's because I know they're my soulmate and they're made for me that it's comforting? That doesn't make me want to rush anything, but still, it's nice.
I reach the living room to see Larry and Tanner invested back into the show, eating their pizza slices, while Nick is sitting on the arm of the couch, consuming his own slice of pizza and staring at his phone. I'm not sure how much longer everyone is going to be here, so I'll enjoy the time with them while I have it. I squeeze past Nick, grab a pizza slice, and sit on the couch, my thigh touching Larry's, while my arm touches Nick's leg. When I touch Nick, he looks away from his phone and down at me; smiling, he turns off his phone to give his full attention to the show.
"This is actually kind of a good show." Nick says before taking another bite.
"MAAAAAN!" Larry clicks his tongue and throws his hands up dramatically.
"WE'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET YOU TO WATCH IT!" Tanner immediately stands up as he shouts, "THE ONLY ONE WHO GIVES IT A TRY IS ISAAC!"
Isaac. I wonder where he's at.
"Just forget this guy Tanner," Larry says as he drags Tanner back down to the couch.
Nick rolls his eyes, "shut up you big babies."
Tanner and Larry grumbling to one another in their corner of the couch. These guys are so random and I love it; I laugh at every antic.
"Everything's done," Yumi grabs a slice of pizza and sits down beside the coffee table, next to mine and Nick's feet.
"Thanks again, Yumi," I lean forward and ruffle his hair a little. It's nice and soft.
Yumi glares at me, which makes me laugh at him, and fixes his hair, before grabbing another slice of pizza. For someone who called the show garbage, he seems to be interested in it, but something tells me he'd never admit it.
As the episode we're watching ends, Nick stands up, "come on guys, we should probably get out of her hair."
"Awwwwww," the other three say in unison.
I'm a little disheartened at the thought too, but he's right; I should start my job officially. "Thanks for coming over and thanks for fixing my computer. I had a great time guys," I smile.
I start to clean up the pizza box and paper plates while the guys get all of their belongings together. I turn off the tv and stand beside the front door, waiting to see them out.
"Let me know when you guys get home, okay?" They all nod at me.
Yumi is the first to make it to the door, "bye Y/n," he gives me a small smile and hugs me.
It's a little unexpected, but I still return the hug. As each of the guys depart, they give me a hug. Once they're all out of the house they pile into Yumi's car. They're getting ready to take off, but not before I get a bunch of waves from the rolled down windows, and Tanner shoves his head out the window to blow me a kiss. I laugh at Tanner and laugh even harder when Larry drags him back into the car by the neck, to also blow me a kiss out the window; this then starts their bicker and I hear it as they go down my road. I shake my head and laugh even harder as I shut my door and lock it behind me.
Time to get back to work. Great. I sigh and send a text to my boss that everything is in working order. I turn my computer on with no issues this time. I'm about to type in my password, when I see a little sticky note sitting below my monitor, it's partially covered, but I pull it out.
'have a nice day :) -blake'
It takes me a second to remember Blake is Yumi's real name. What a cutie. I smile, placing the sticky note at the bottom of my monitor, just so that it's in a more noticeable place.
After a little bit of work, I get a small text from Nick.
Nick: got home safe!
Y/n: thanks for letting me know:)
Nick: no prob!!
Then, the group chat with my soulmates started flying off the handle. How am I going to get any work done???
