Part 2: Chapter 10

YN POV

Well, it's officially been almost two weeks since I joined the volleyball team. We've mostly been practicing, which makes sense. So far all the girls are really nice to me on the team. Akane says we will have our first game in a month or so, which is why practice is going to start to pick up even more. I'm honestly looking forward to it.

The school day had just finished and I am on my way to meet up with Mikey and Draken. It sounded like there were some issues going on involving Toman. Hopefully nothing too serious. I've told all of them strictly to keep Toman out of trouble that could cause serious problems. I'm glad they've managed to do so since I was away. To be honest, even though I may be recognized as their Number 3... I'm not as much of an active member anymore as I was before.

Why? Well, for one, I moved away. Which to me meant losing my position alongside Draken as one of the strongest members. However, Mikey insisted I regain my position as Number 3 when he found out I would be returning to Tokyo. Of course I couldn't decline. I love the kid, and Toman will always hold a special place in my heart.

Another reason is that now as I'm older I really have to focus on what my future is going to be like. Securing a career mainly. Back then we were still kids.. well, I was younger basically is what I mean. Yet I really have to concentrate on my studies, too. This doesn't mean that I'd ever back down from standing beside Toman though. I will always be there for them no matter what. Which is why I'm meeting with Mikey and Draken to see what the issue is.

I approached the park that Mikey had texted me to meet. I immediately spotted the huge towering silhouette of Draken, and headed in their direction. "Hey you two", I called out waving my hand at them. Draken turned to me, "Hey y/n."

"Wow", I said, "this must be some serious business for me to get that dry ass greeting." I walked over to them and stood in front of Mikey who was sitting down on the park bench. Munching away on dorayakis. "Mikey", he finally looked up once he was finished eating. Priorities I assume.

"Y/n, it's not that we're not glad to see you", Draken spoke up and I turned to look at him as I took my sight off Mikey. "We were just in the middle of discussing the present matter." I nodded, "Right", I looked back at Mikey, "Well I'm here now. What is it?" I crossed my arms staring him down as he wiped his mouth with the corners of his sleeves.

"It seems some gang wants to try to stir things up with us", Mikey began, "they've been making their attempts quite vocal around Shinjuku." I was taken aback by Mikey's statement. "Shinjuku?", I said, "I was in Shinjuku last week. I didn't see any gang members walking around."

"Probably for the best." Draken spoke up, "I'm sure many know that you're a part of Toman." I turned to look at him. He was right. Even if I hadn't been as active in Toman during my absence and even now. Other gangs did know about the rumored female member who was their Number 3. "Who knows what may have happened if you had crossed paths with them." Draken said pointing out the possibility of a surprise attack on me.

"Is that why you wanted to see me?", I asked, "You think I may be in danger?" I turned to look at Mikey. He stared at me for a few seconds and then nodded. "It's better for you to be informed about what we've been told." Of course it's not hard for these gangs to find out any information they need. Anyone willing to say they've spotted me with Toman could easily put two and two together.

"You don't have to worry about me", I tried to reassure the two of them. "I can take care of myself." I told them as I put my left hand on my chest. Attempting to emphasize my point for them. Draken shook his head, "Doesn't matter if you can defend yourself or not y/n." He said with a serious tone, "you have to be careful with this gang."
