The Ties that Bind [Rindou x Reader x Kakucho]

Part 1: Chapter 3

Y/N stepped out of the taxi cab as she thanked the driver. She walked into the luxurious building of the restaurant in front of her. She wasn't surprised to see Kakucho waiting for her at the entrance inside the restaurant.

"As usual you're my bodyguard huh?", she said smiling at him and he returned the same smile, "As usual." They both walked together with Kakucho leading her to where the rest of the men were waiting for her arrival. "So, what is it this time? The usual old, sleazy men?", she said looking around the restaurant. Kakucho laughed softly at her bluntness, "Somewhat like that."

They finally reached one of the big tables near the back of the restaurant. Y/N's eyes immediately scanned the entire group as she saw a group of men she didn't recognize sitting across from Kisaki and Hanma dressed in black suits with ties of either red or black.

All seemed to be in their 30s, maybe early 40s even. 'Hm. Not the usual balding men', she thought.

    "I apologize for keeping you waiting.", she bowed to the men. Kisaki immediately looked at her getting up from his seat. "Y/N, so nice of you to finally join us.", he said, walking to her and putting his arm around her waist. Y/N's skin crawled at his touch yet she covered it with the best smile she could put on for this little show Kisaki had going on.

"Please, gentlemen, I want you to meet one of our very important members in Toman", Kisaki began, "Shinazugawa Y/N." She bowed once more, "It's a pleasure to meet you all." The men bowed in return to her from their seats. "Didn't know Toman had such a beautiful woman in their midst." one of them spoke as he looked at Y/N up and down, devouring her with just his eyes.

Kakucho took notice, "Well then, let's begin our meeting now shall we, Kisaki?" He looked at the man beside Y/N who smirked and said, "Of course." He walked over to their seats with Y/N still at his hold. He pulled out the chair for her to sit, "Thank you", she softly replied as she took her seat with Kisaki at her left and Kakucho on her right.

    She opened the menu to look at what to order as the men spoke, she completely blocked their voices out.

"I recommend this, it's pretty good", Kakucho leaned in pointing at an item on the menu for Y/N to look at. "Hm, a lobster risotto?", she said looking at him. Kakucho slightly nodded, "You never know, you might like it", he smiled at her "trust me, it's delicious". She nodded, "Okay, I'll take your word for it."

As they waited for their food, Y/N remained quiet, taking a drink of the white wine in her glass. Her mind briefly drifted off to what she had just discussed with Naoto and Takemichi earlier. 'He will get to see them. I envy that.', she thought.

She couldn't help but feel a bit jealous of Takemichi for being able to go back to the past. To be able to see her friends, everyone she misses he will get to see alive .. and happy before all of this.

'I hope you like me in the past, Takemichi', she mentally laughed to herself as she thought of how reckless she could be back then. 

    "So, all this talk about business is quite boring," Y/N looked at who was speaking, which was one of the men who has a black beard matching with his slicked back black hair, Mr. Tanaka, is what she heard him be introduced as. "I'd like to know more about Ms. Shinazugawa", he said, making eye contact with her.

"What is there to know about me?", she said with a faint smile and a slight curiosity in her tone. "Well, I'm sure a beautiful attractive woman like you is not single, is she?", he slyly said, causing Y/N to mentally vomit at his words. "Well, I don't think I have the time right now to be dating.", she said, holding her glass and taking a drink.

"Hmph. Gentlemen, Y/N is one of our best girls at our host club Claire de Lune," spoke Hanma who was seated in front of Kakucho, "maybe you can make her acquaintance there one of these days. She is free after all", he said looking at Y/N with a sly smile while lifting up his glasses.
