Mary:

I heard my door open, before the light flooded in, I squeezed my eyes tighter trying to make the light go away but it didn’t so I flipped over to face the darkness once more, I heard the door click shut and muffled footsteps make their way over to the bed, the duvet lifted behind me, and I felt a warm body slip in next to me, I didn’t need to see him or feel the tingles to know that it was Mike somehow I knew since the door had opened that it was him, I felt his strong arms wrap themselves round my waist and my body turned it to his chest seeking the warmth his body always brought, without meaning to I whispered “I Love you Mike” I was surprised myself but I knew I would never take it back because it was true I love him and what he whispered back made me smile, “I Love you two” I felt his soft lips brush my forehead with every word he whispered, and I drifted off to sleep in arms of my love.

Once again I was stood on the edge of a clearing but this one I didn’t know, in the middle was Sam’s red wolf and another one I hadn’t seen before not even at the community, when I looked closer I realised they were both braced for an attack mirror images of each other, Sam was the first to move she lunged low, but the other wolf was smart and jumped higher, over her to land behind her, with quickness I had never seen before Sam snap round to face it, before the other wolf could cause any damaged behind her back, this time the unknown wolf was the first to attack, he lunged snapping his jaw at Sam’s neck, Sam jumped backwards just enough to get out of his reach but not too much so she could still go in for her own attack, she went for his left front leg.

It was the other wolf’s turn to jump back, but he was quicker recovering then Sam was and he brought up the leg she tried to bite and tried to crawl her face but Sam shot to the right but not quick enough because the wolf’s crawls scratched just below her left shoulder, Sam whimpered but over then that she didn’t let the cuts stop her she lunged and was met in the air by the other wolf, and hit the ground in a deathly roll, it was just like my other dream when Sam and Jackson were fight in wolf form, but this was different Jackson was trying to stop Sam but this wolf was trying to kill her, I wanted to jump in and help but I knew that I would just end up getting myself killed as well as Sam because she would protect me before herself, then it hit me it was a dream, but it didn’t feel like one it felt real really real even more real than the other ones, and it was like Sam was connected to me somehow, because when she was scratched I felt it in my own chest but not as much as Sam did but ow it hurt.

But I did scream with Sam when the other wolf bite hard into her hinge leg and because of that my tight but after a few seconds my legs was fine but you could see that it was still effecting Sam she was slower and almost limping, the edges of the clearing began to blur as they rolled once more, but unlike the other times Sam was the one who got the bite in. But I didn’t get to see anymore.

Then my bedroom at Mike’s house came into full focus I could hear Mike, soothing words and his hand running over my hair I could feel the wetness of my eyes of the tears rolling down my cheeks, when I managed to open my eyes it was to see a worried looking Mike, and all I could do was say five words quietly with a shaking voice “We need to help Sam” Mike didn’t ask any questions, or tell me it was just a dream and that Sam was fine no he remained silent which I was grateful for, I let him help me off the bed and across the room, at that moment my legs were to weak for me to stand on due to the crying I was still doing, we reached the door and I took a deep breath and said to myself ‘You need to pull yourself together and find your sister before it is to late’ I felt one small kiss on my forehead and then Mike said “I’ll get the others” and left me with only a door frame to keep me from crawling into the nearest corner rolling in to a ball and crying my heart out.

Jackson:

I was running about a tenth of the forest behind her, letting her run and think on her own for a while. But as soon as I felt the pain in my heart, the burning of the skin of my left hand side of my upper chest, and her scream which mentally filled my head vibrating to every cell in my body, I wished with all my heart and soul that I had chosen to catch up and run with her. I picked up my pace staying human so I would be able to share her pain and she wouldn’t have to bare it all. When I was close enough to her that my body could sense her, which didn’t mean I was close to her she could be in a five mile radius but god I hoped she wasn’t, pain burned through my thigh yet again but I didn’t let it slow me down I pushed through it running even faster. When I finally reach the clearing were her heat was strongest I burst through the trees to see someone with Sam who I knew all too well and seeing him brought a growl up my throat and erupting out of my mouth.
