Chapter Twelve
"Hi Miss Cartlige. How can I help you?" I asked in an uncharacteristic tone.
"I have a message from President snow concerning the district twelve victors." She said. That didn't really give me much information on why she was calling.
"Okay, so what do you need?" I asked again trying the push the answers out of her.
"Mr President, wanted me to tell you that he wants you, Mr Mellark and Mr Abernathy in the capitol as soon as possible, he said it is important you are here for when he tells you, It could be life changing." She explained. It still didn't give me any answers but it gave me a pit in my stomach of dread.
"Okay, the three of us ill be on the train early tomorrow morning, thank you." We said our goodbyes and I turned to face the curious faces of my sister, mother and 'pretend' boyfriend.
"It was president snow's secretary, she said that Snow wants the three victors from twelve to go and visit him because he was some news that could be life changing." I explained.
"Life changing?"Prim asked worried etched on her face.
She tells me I have to go to the capitol and soon.
