"Babe, are you ready? We have a 4 hour drive ahead of us!" Harry shouted to you from downstairs as you looked at yourself in the mirror, fixing your dress you had picked out for the day ahead, smiling as the sun hit the diamond of your promise ring he had given you the night before.

"I'll be 2 minutes," you shouted back and you were sure you heard a sigh but you couldn't be sure. When Harry appeared at the door, you pulled your dress down your thighs further and turned to look at him. His eyes diverted from your face down to your promise ring, and his face lit up.

He walked over to you slowly and grabbed your right hand, pressing a kiss to the ring before placing your hand back down by your side and giving your lips a quick peck. "You look absolutely beautiful. Why are you nervous?" You shuffled nervously on your feet that were secured in a pair of YSL sandals that Harry had bought you 'just because'.

You stepped closer to him and dropped your head to his chest and wrapped your arms around his waist. He pressed a kiss to your head and wrapped an arm around your shoulders. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asked looking down at you. You looked up at him and shook your head telling him that it wasn't important, but he wouldn't settle for it. "Tell me, love. Don't shut me out. What's going on in that pretty little head of yours?"

You wrapped your arms tighter and dropped your head to his chest once again. "I'm scared," you whispered. "I'm scared because I've met your parents once, and we've been dating for a year and a half and you've given me a promise ring that means commitment and marriage at one point, and I want that with you, so bad. But your parents don't know me, what if they get to know me and don't like me? What if they don't want you to marry me?" You whispered and Harry pulled away from you to place his hands either side of his face, kissing your forehead gently.

He looked down and smiled at you. "Please, don't be scared. My mum went shopping for the ring with me. She loves how happy you make me, and she loves you because you can make anyone fall in love with you. You're so kind, and caring, and I couldn't ask for anyone else to promise to spend my life with than you. You're it for me, Y/N. You're the one," he whispered and smiled as a tear ran down your cheek. He wiped it with his thumb and you smiled at him.

"Thank you. For always being there to reassure me," you said. "Let's get going then, shall we?" He nodded, a smile on his face, before grabbing your hand once more and pressing a kiss to your ring once more, making your heart flutter.

Now that Gemma and Harry had moved out, Anne and Robin were spending more and more time at Robin's bungalow rather than the home Harry had grown up in, which was why you were on route to the secluded cabin. And though Harry had only spent some time during his childhood in the home, more time during his teenage years, it seemed to fit the stories that he had told you about growing up very well. The intricate interior, the height markings making you smile that one day you would be doing that with your kids.

"Y/N, come here a second, babe," Harry shouted from the kitchen and you walked in to see him and Anne sitting at the kitchen table. Anne had her hand over her son's and she smiled at you when she seen you walk into the kitchen.

"Oh, Y/N. I was just going to have a little sit in the garden, did you want to come with me? Rob and H will finish up dinner," she asked as she filled up Harry's wine, along with two glasses for you both. You nodded and she passed you a glass, making her way through the glass sliding door that was situated beyond the open plan kitchen and dining room.
