" You did a fantastic job, everyone!" Professor Bellis said happily. " Thanks to you, the town is back to normal, and all the injured Pokemon are being treated."

Lillie grinned. " Thank you, but it was mostly Mia. She helped us escape and stayed behind to beat Giovanni by herself."

Paulo and the others turned to me. " Thanks, Mia." He said.

I didn't hear Paulo

I was leaning on the wall, deep in thought, arms crossed. Pikachu was on my shoulder, looking at me, concerned.

" Pika.... Pi..."

I let out a long sigh.

This wasn't right.

I might have Gignantimaxed Pikachu and told her to use thunderbolt, and yes we were sent flying out with Pikachu returning to normal size ( that blow was gruesome), but....

Giovanni has escaped.

I saw him.

He and the Grunts last second teleported with Mewtwo.

" Pika pikaaaaa?"

I looked at my partner who was on my shoulder. " Chuuuu?"

I shook my head. " Just thinking, Pikachu."

" Chu?"

I sighed, pushing off the wall, not even noticing the others watching me. " Abiut them, Pikachu. You saw how fast Mewtwo was. And imagine what would happen if-"

I shook my head. " No. He won't do that."

I whirled to the door, clenching my fists. " If he dare strikes we'll be there. Won't we, Pikachu?"

" Pikaaaa!"

Suddenly the Pokemon Center door opened, and there stood all the Baby Pokemon I had become frisnds with.

I blinked. " Hi guys."

They all came running to me.

" Woah wo-"

They knocked me onto the ground, kissing and hugging me and nudging me.

" Okay okay okay!" I laughed. " I get it!"

I sat up, and a blue Nidoran nudged my arm.

" Yeah, Nini? What's up, girl?"

A purple Nidoran hopped onto my lap and stood on his hind legs, putting his other paws on my shoulders.

" What happened, Nido? Did someone come threaten you guys again?"

" Mia...." I turned to see Blue looking at me. " I think they're worried."

" Worried?? Why?"

" Because they saw you sail through the sky." Lillie answered.

I pet Nido's head. " Is that it, boy? Is that what's the matter."

Nido let out a small whimper before nuzzling into my chest. The rest of the baby Pokémon huddled closer, their tiny bodies pressing against me for comfort.

I let out a sigh, my hands gently scratching behind Nini’s ears. “Hey, I’m okay, really.” I gave them my best reassuring smile. “I might’ve taken a bit of a detour through the sky, but I landed just fine. See? Not a scratch on me.”

Pikachu huffed, hopping down from my shoulder and pouting at me. “Pika, pikaaa!”

I rolled my eyes. “Okay, fine, maybe one or two scratches.”

Blue crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow. “More like a dozen.”

I waved him off. “Details, details.”
