The door to the Pokémon Center burst open, and Lusamine, elegant but disheveled, strode in with determination. Her eyes scanned the room, her relief evident when she saw Lillie. "Lillie!" she called.

"M-Mom?" Lillie's voice cracked as she stood up, tears welling in her eyes.

They ran to each other, embracing tightly. "I was so worried about you, Mom!" Lillie sobbed.

"I'm safe now," Lusamine assured her, holding her daughter tightly. "Thanks to Looker and the others. But where is everyone else? And... where's Mia?"

Lillie's smile faltered, and she glanced toward Red, who was standing stiffly by the wall. Blue crossed his arms with a grim expression.

Lusamine noticed the sudden tension. "What's wrong?"

Rosa stepped forward, her face pale. "Mia stayed behind at the Aether Foundation. We... we couldn't stop her."

Lusamine's eyes widened in shock. "She stayed? Alone?!"

"Yeah," Blue said darkly. "Kid pulled a classic 'I got this' move and sent us all back. That was two hours ago, and we haven't heard from her since."

Lusamine's face paled. "You let her—"

"I didn't let her do anything," Blue interrupted, his voice sharp. "No one can stop Mia when she makes up her mind."

Lillie gripped her mother's arm, panic creeping back into her voice. "Mom, she could be in danger! What if something happened to her?"

Gary, who had been silent until now, stood up abruptly, his fists clenched. "I'm going back to get her."

"Wait!" Paulo called. "You can't just rush in without a plan."

Gary's eyes burned with resolve. "She risked everything for us. I'm not waiting around while she's out there alone."

Red, silent as ever, nodded in agreement and started moving toward the door.

Lusamine's voice trembled. "I'm coming too. No arguments."

Blue sighed heavily. "Looks like we're back in the chaos. Let's move before that stubborn kid gets herself killed."

The battle was intense, and the room felt like it was suffocating under the weight of the confrontation. I stood in the center, my clothes tattered and stained, my body aching from the countless fights I’d endured. My Pokémon—Pikachu, Jynx, Aerodactyl, Slowbro, Omastar, and Dewgong—stood by my side, equally exhausted but refusing to give up.

The last grunt had fallen, and now the leader stood before me, his face twisted with disdain. "You’ve got guts, kid," he sneered, sending out his final Pokémon—a terrifying Tyranitar.

"Pikachu," I whispered, my voice hoarse. "Let’s end this."

"Pi...kachu!" she replied, her cheeks sparking fiercely despite her exhaustion.

The Tyranitar roared, but I wasn’t backing down. "Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"

The air crackled as Pikachu unleashed one final surge of electricity, lighting up the entire room. The Tyranitar roared in pain before collapsing to the ground. The leader cursed under his breath, recalling his Pokémon. "This isn’t over," he muttered before fleeing.

I stood there, trembling but victorious, as Pikachu staggered to my side. I knelt down and hugged her, tears streaming down my face. "We did it," I whispered. "It’s over."

Suddenly, I heard footsteps echoing down the corridor. Turning, I saw a group of familiar faces rushing toward me—Gladion, Lillie, Lusamine, Rosa, Misty, Red, Blue, Leaf, and Paulo.

The moment Red saw me, his eyes widened, and he broke into a sprint. Before I could say anything, he reached me, wrapping his arms around me tightly. "Red—" I began, but my voice broke as I felt his grip tighten.

He held me like he never wanted to let go, his head burying into my shoulder. "You're safe," he whispered, his voice trembling. "You’re safe."

The others arrived moments later, relief flooding their faces. Misty and Rosa exchanged glances before Misty muttered, "She actually did it..."

Gladion crossed his arms, his expression conflicted. "You’re reckless, you know that?" he muttered, though his tone betrayed his concern.

Lillie stepped forward, her eyes shimmering with tears. "Mia..." Her voice cracked, and Lusamine gently placed a hand on her daughter’s shoulder.

Blue shook his head, his arms crossed. "You’re insane, kid," he said, though there was a hint of pride in his voice. "But you pulled it off."

Paulo let out a low whistle. "I guess we didn’t need to come charging in after all."

Leaf placed a hand on my shoulder, her gaze soft. "You’re unbelievable."

I let out a weak laugh, leaning against Red for support. "What can I say? I told you I could handle it."

Rosa knelt down next to Pikachu, gently petting her. "Your Pokémon are incredible," she said softly. "But you should’ve waited for us."

"I didn’t have time," I admitted, my voice shaky but resolute. "I had to protect everyone...and I had to save Lusamine."

Lusamine stepped forward, her expression filled with gratitude and guilt. "You saved me, Mia," she said softly. "Thank you...but you should never have done it alone."

Red pulled back just enough to look at me, his eyes filled with a mix of relief and frustration. "... ... ..." he started, then finally said, "Don’t do this again."

I smiled weakly. "I’ll try."

Pikachu climbed onto my shoulder, nuzzling me. I glanced at everyone, feeling the weight of the moment. I wasn’t alone anymore. They were here for me, and we’d made it through together.
