Everyone sprang into action, a renewed sense of purpose driving them. They had one mission: find Mia and bring her back safely.

Lillie sighed. " This is all my fault."
Rosa looked at Lillie with a raised brow. " How?"
" She's my mom. I should have never let her explore on her own the first time."
Misty turned to Lillie. " We didn't know this would happen."
Leaf nodded, turning back from her group with Blue and Red. " Yeah. Don't worry, Lillie. We'll find your mom."
" I have no doubt about mom. It's Mia I'm worried about."
Rosa blinked. " Mia? Why?"
" Because you know how she is." Lillie whispered. " She's determined. Once she sets her mind to something she's not going out unless her Pokemon are in a life or death situation."
Misty sighed, rubbing her temples. " That's true..."
" But she's determined, Lillie." Paulo pointed out.
Lillie blinked. " Yeah?"
" Exactly. If she's determined, she's not gonna back down easily. Which means she knows how to stay safe while fighting."
Lillie brightened up a bit. " Hey, you're right."
But then her brow furrowed. "I just wish I knew exactly what was going through Mia's mind when she decided to go alone..."
Rosa offered a reassuring smile. "Probably something like 'I've got this, and if anyone tries to stop me, they're getting yeeted into next week.'"
Despite the tension, Lillie giggled softly. "That does sound like her."
Misty nodded in agreement. "Yup, that stubborn streak of hers never changes. She never listens when it matters most."
Blue, walking slightly ahead, sighed. "It’s what makes her good at what she does—but also makes her a pain to deal with."
Red glanced sideways at Blue, his expression unreadable. His silence spoke volumes.
Leaf slowed her pace to match Lillie's. "Hey, we’ll get her back. And your mom. We’ve faced worse situations, right?"
