"Nightmare hotel. We made the most of yesterday so we decided to come back early, have a chill day," George explains. Hattie, however, is staring at me slightly too intensely.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, guys. Did you have a nice trip other than that?" I ask, trying to remain nonchalant and casual, but also wanting to get them away from my room as quickly as possible.

"Yeah, it was good. The food was amazing, and - why is your teddy bear moving?" George asks, and I quickly turn my head around, slowly turning it back.

"I think you're imagining things," I laugh awkwardly, closing my door slightly to obstruct the view even more.

A cough.

He fucking coughed.

"Uh - now your duvet is coughing," George states, and I slightly want to throttle him.

"No it's not."

"Yes it is."

Hattie, without warning, slips into my room, and snatches the duvet off of the bed, revealing a very red-faced Harry, who waves at all of us awkwardly.

I'm just stood in my doorway, also probably turning bright red, and my hands coming up to cover my face.

So much for keeping it a secret.

Hattie is stood in the middle of my room, mouth wide open, and George mirrors her expression from outside of my room.

"Hello," Harry says out loud.

"Holly Peterson, I was not aware of your game," George states, his face breaking out into a mischievous smile.

"This isn't funny," I try to protest, but George and Harry seem to make eye contact, and they're both laughing. I'm in disbelief.

Still with her mouth open, Hattie looks over at me, and raises her eyebrow. She looks impressed.

"Harry?" She mouths, with a look of pride and curiosity.

Slightly deflated, I nod my head, and step aside so George can come into the room, clapping Harry on the back.

"Surprise, I guess," I say to both of my friends, who still look amused at this whole situation. "I mean - this wasn't how you were supposed to find out, but -"

"I am so sorry for barging in here and snatching the duvet, I -"

I shake my head. "No, no. It's fine. I should've just told you both from the start, it's -"

"It's still new. We're working things out," Harry finishes, and I shoot him a grateful look for saving me.

"Yeah, that."

"Well - I guess we'll leave you both to it. But we're gonna be chilling in the living room, if you wanted to come join," George offers, wrapping an arm around Hattie, practically having to pull her out of my room.

"Guys!" I call out behind them, making them stop in their tracks. "This - this is private. Like, real private. Can you -"

"Our lips are sealed," Hattie answers for the both of them, before they leave my room, shutting the door behind them.

I pick my duvet up from the floor, and chuck it back at Harry's face.

"You coughed!"

"I'm a smoker, what did you expect when I'm near suffocating?!"

I scoff. "You so were not suffocating," I laugh, sitting back on the bed, and Harry sits up, reaching out for my hand.

"I'm sorry."

I shake my head. "Don't be. I'm sort of glad George and Hattie know. It was inevitable, really, wasn't it? At least you can stay over more often - if you wanted to, that is," I say quickly, but he just squeezes my hand, immediately pausing my overthinking.

"Exactly," he smiles. "Now that the excitement's over, do you wanna go for a smoke?"
