@user1: OMG I BEG YOU BRING THE COOKING SERIES WITH JESS BACK

"So, life in London is treating you well?" Jess asks, as we walk Henry, our golden retriever down a path.

"If you're asking if I'm glad I moved there, then yes. I love it," I answer her.

"Y'know, you can come visit us whenever. Mum and Dad were really worried after the —" she starts, but pauses when I give her a look.

"I didn't come back home because I needed something different. Matthew — he was, y'know, for a long time, he was part of this family. Our family. I couldn't come back here, Jess. Everything reminded me of him. Moving in with George and Arthur was the best thing that I could've done."

"I mean, I get it, but we're family, Hols. I would've come and stayed with you if you actually told us where you were living," she says sadly.

"That was it, though. I needed to be away from everyone who could possibly associate me with Matthew. He ruined my life, Jess. Nearly ruined me, too."

Henry barks, and pulls on the lead, clearly wanting to let loose, so I unclip the lead from his collar, watching as he sprinted up on the path.

"I hate him for what he did to you, Holly. You know that, right?" Jess asks cautiously, almost as if she's afraid of how I might react.
