Writing has kind of become my outlet. I'm finding that whatever I'm going through personally, (which quite frankly, is way too much right now so thanks a lot universe), knowing that my writing is being read and enjoyed by so many people is kind of keeping me going. I genuinely owe so much to every single one of you that reads, votes and comments on my book.

Which leads me on nicely to say — thank you for 10,000 reads! It hasn't even reached a month of this book existing yet and that is such a huge number, so thank you🤍

There will be more holly and harry content soon I promise...but for now enjoy

THURSDAY.

From: Harry

Holly, am I picking you up today? Yes or no?

i can't today

i'm really sorry

Okay. Don't stress it, it's all good. Next week?

for sure :)

"I don't know why I feel so nervous," I admit, wringing my hands together, as I stand outside of my apartment building, George and Hattie one side, and Arthur the other.

Arthur just smiles at me warmly, and George loops his arm round mine, to stop me from squeezing my hands together.

"it's the first time you've invited them up here. First time us meeting them, of course you're nervous. But it'll be fine," George reassures me, just as their car comes swinging into the car park, parking in a free space.

"Did they bring your dog? Please tell me they brought the dog," Hattie says out loud, and sure enough the first door to open, Henry comes bounding out.

Jess is next out, then my Mum, followed by my Dad, who looks absolutely exhausted.

Jess doesn't hold back, and she even breaks out into a jog, coming over to crush me in a tight hug.

"Oh my god. You look different every time I see you," she laughs, as we sway in sync together, before she finally releases me, letting my Mum hug me next.

Once all the initial hugs and hellos are out of the way, I quickly introduce them to everyone, before we head back up to the flat.

Usually, pets aren't allowed in the building, but I'd managed to sweet talk the lobby employees, who'd promised to look the other way for the afternoon. Henry had never been in an elevator before, and my Dad had ended up holding him so he wouldn't freak out. An adorable sight to see, really.

"This is home," I say nervously, opening the front door as everyone headed back in, all three of my friends stood next to me, as my family looked around.

Henry was going mad, sniffing everything.

"I bought some treats for him just in case he was coming. I can - I don't know if you want him to have them, but -" Hattie starts, but Mum looks thrilled, and they head over to the kitchen together.

Jess becomes interested in the house plant collection - which is entirely Arthur's doing, so the two of them head off to the side, just leaving myself, George, and my Dad.
