Please feel free to skip this authors note, but I quickly want to share some of my year (I am a chronic over sharer).
2024 has been a mixture of emotions. It wasn't my best year, nor my worst, but it's not one I think I could handle again. There have been highs, such as graduating from university, and becoming a qualified primary school teacher in the UK. (I also got barricade to the Era's Tour - I think that is brag worthy!!)
There have been lows, such as falling out with my best friend of 10 years — the last two months I have struggled in ways I haven't struggled before, and I still am struggling. The thought of going into a new year where we aren't friends absolutely terrifies me.
But I will do it. And I will survive. 2025 will be a great year. Hopefully, come September, I will have a teaching job, my own class, and I will be starting a new life somewhere else.
I hope all of you thrive in 2025.
