“There it is!” He exclaimed,
“Oh what? Someone’s shampoo?” Naruto mocked,
“No! I smell Sasuke!” My heart fluttered at the mention of his name, “He’s not alone though, I smell others, he’s caught up to them.” I gritted my teeth,
“At last!” Sakura breathed,
“Their close together and they’ve stopped moving! Could mean a fight.”
“Don’t do anything you’ll regret Sasuke…” I murmured to myself,
“We should hurry!” Pakuun exclaimed, he then turned to look at us, “Smells like we’re not the only ones tracking Sasuke, there’s something else out there!” My breath hitched,
“Something else?! Could it be Orochimaru?” I breathed,
“No, Orochimaru would be in the village.” Pakuun answered, “After all, he did plan this attack.” I growled softly, so this is all Orochimaru’s doing then eh? Should have known,
“Who is it then?!” Naruto asked,
“Friend or foe?” Sakura added,
“I don’t know… But…” Pakuun trailed off,
“But what?”
“It isn’t human…” Time slowed, Not… human?!

Pakuun sniffed again,
“Oh oh.” He stopped jumping and Sakura and I copied. Unfortunately Naruto wasn’t paying as much attention. Yep, ran straight into a tree,
“Ahahaha,” I laughed nervously, “Y-You alright there Naruto-kun?”
“You wanna clue me in on what’s going on?!” He exclaimed as he flailed around while still half stuck to the tree,
“Smells like their in motion. Sasuke along with two of the other ones. And their moving fast!” Pakuun added, “Smells to me like Sasuke’s chasing them.”
“You sure?”
“But there are still two more there.” Pakuun continued, “Not moving.”
“SO WHAT WHO CARES?! WE GOTTA CATCH UP TO SASUKE! COME ON!”
“Calm down Naruto!” I demanded,
“What is it?” Sakura asked Pakuun,
“The two that are left are about to fight, I can smell it.” I sighed and stood up, “Even if it means losing some time we should go around them.”
“Are you crazy?! We don’t have time to lose time (A/N good choice of words Naruto XD) So what if their fighting?! I say full speed ahead!” Naruto yelled,
“Oh grow up Naruto!” Sakura spat, “Who knows what would happen if we get caught in the cross fire! What we don’t have time for is to get mixed up in someone else’s fight! No matter how much you might get a kick out of it!”
“Calm down Sakura.” I cooed,
“What are you talking about? Who says I get a kick out of-“ Naruto started,
“Listen kid! Our mission is to bring Sasuke back! We should try and avoid any fighting let alone go out looking for it!” Pakuun interrupted, I scratched the back of my head and sighed, “Come on!” He ordered as he jumped away,
“Hai.” Then Sakura jumped away,
“Coming Naruto?” I asked,
“Yea yea, I’m coming.” I giggled and jumped after everyone.
