INVISIBLE STRINGS ~ Scoups [C]

The sound of shoes squeaking against the polished school floors filled the hallway as students rushed to their morning classes. Y/N walked side by side with Yumi, their backpacks bouncing lightly with every step.

"So, what’s today’s plan, Y/N? Another iced coffee attempt?" Yeri teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

Y/N grinned and pulled out two neatly packed sandwiches from her bag. "Nope! Today, I’ve prepared breakfast. Who can resist homemade sandwiches, right?"

Yumi shook her head with a chuckle. "You’re really something else."

As they turned the corner, Y/N spotted Scoups standing near his locker, surrounded by Mingyu, Wonwoo and Vernon. Scoups had his arms crossed, nodding slightly as Mingyu animatedly told a story.

Without hesitation, Y/N marched straight towards them.

"Good morning, Scoups!" Y/N greeted brightly, holding out one of the sandwiches wrapped neatly in wax paper.

The group went silent for a moment. Mingyu looked at Scoups, trying to suppress a grin, while Wonwoo adjusted his glasses casually.

Scoups glanced at the sandwich briefly, then at Y/N. "I’m not hungry."

Y/N didn’t even flinch. "That’s okay! You can save it for later. It’s tuna and egg, my specialty!"

She gently placed the sandwich on top of his books before stepping back with a triumphant smile. "Enjoy!"

As she walked away with Yeri, Mingyu leaned toward Scoups and whispered, "You know, one day, you might actually miss this kind of dedication."

Scoups said nothing, his eyes fixed on the sandwich sitting on his books.

The Classroom – Midday Break

Y/N sat beside Yeri, flipping through her notebook while occasionally glancing toward Scoups, who was seated a few rows ahead by the window.

Yeri nudged her lightly. "You know, sometimes I wonder if he’s secretly flustered but just really good at hiding it."

Y/N giggled. "You think so? He looks pretty composed to me."

"Boys like Scoups are a mystery" Yeri said, resting her chin on her palm. "But if anyone’s going to crack the code, it’s you."

Just then, Jeonghan strolled over, hands tucked casually in his pockets.

"Y/N, you’re causing quite a stir, you know. Sandwiches now? What’s next? A full bento set?" Jeonghan teased, his signature sly smile on full display.

Y/N grinned. "That’s not a bad idea, actually."

Jeonghan chuckled before leaning down slightly. "But seriously, Y/N, don’t overdo it. Scoups might seem cold, but… he’s not heartless."

Y/N gave him a thumbs-up. "Got it, Jeonghan! Operation ‘Win Scoups’ Heart’ continues!"

Lunch Break – School Courtyard

The courtyard was filled with students enjoying their meals under the warm afternoon sun. Y/N and Yeri sat at their usual bench, enjoying their lunch while DK, Hoshi and Joshua joined them.

"Y/N, I’m telling you, you’ve got superhero level perseverance" DK said between bites of his sandwich.

Hoshi leaned forward, his expression serious. "You know, if Scoups doesn’t fall for you, it’s not because of you. It’s because he’s blind."
